We all saw the worldwide panic when Seungri was exposed to be a shitty person. Western media took advantage of it and made KPOP to be some evil thing, KPOP lost all it's relevancy among the Korean general public in 2019 in Korea as well.
Nothing. Showbiz has always been hiding awful things. It's becoming easier for people who been affected to have their voices heard.
Kpop fans should already be aware of shady things that gone on for years like idols in huge debuts, poor mental and physical health, raping trainees, harsh working conditions etc. Burning sun and its related shit was another big event and that was only exposed a couple years ago, who knows how long it was going on for. If it can survive those things then it will carry on whatever new issue pops up

Gonna be honest, with the amount of underage idols, it's pretty likely that this kind of scandal will eventually come to light in the kpop industry too.
Don't think that anything bad will happen, truth to be told we've already seen how most people even here joke that if something happened in middle school then it's already in the past and everyone was a kid, so in terms of global fanbase everyone will support their favs, well like 95% of people will do.
