1. Yet to come
3. Born Singer
Overall I think this is a very solid new comeback. The only song I'm not feeling is Born Singer. Jungkook and Taehyung's intro was amazing and I really like the vocals and lyrics during the chorus but the beat on top of it sorta ruin it for me. And the long rap verses aren't for me, sorry rap-line.
BTS Run has me 50/50. The pre-chorus and post(?)-chorus have me dying. Full on BOP. But I'm not a huge fan of the verses. Multiple talk-singing parts that didn't do it for me. A good song but I'm not sure I'll listen to it.
For Youth is not really my type of love/friendship/fan song. As nice as Jungkook's voice the opening "if I never met you" doesn't draw me in. The song is also a little on the boring side (I prefer upbeat fun songs lol). But it's also so smooth and pretty. Like it's pleasant to listen to? And honestly I could listen to the whole song just for Jungkook's vocal moment towards the end of the song.
When I fist listened to Yet To Come I thought it was good but nothing special but each time I hear it I like it more and more. I've already added it to my playlist and it might be my favorite 2022 boy group release
Overall I like this comeback way more than BE (albeit a little fan release heavy. I'm not an army so 4 nostalgic songs were a little much, could have used something more lighthearted) and the vocal line stood out so much to me. Their English delivery have improved so much over the last year. Jin especially. His parts usually don't stand out to me but on this album I had multiple "Oh that sounds nice" moments when he started singing.
