Favorite 2022 boy groups/subunit debut song?

    If TEMPEST is B1A4, then Younite is Boyfriend. I'm amused I made the earlier comparison because when Boyfriend and B1A4 both debuted, there was a lot of talk about which cute bg did people like most.


    Younite's a bit cuter than TEMPEST is, so the parallels to second gen are there lol. I liked the theming throughout the video and how it tied in so closely with the song. It'll be interesting to see if they stick with this eclectic styling or end up going a more trendy route.

    So about that.


    Eunsang was asked about what he'd like to do for a future comeback and he said he liked the "chicness" of 'Everybody' and thought it really suited Younite. So maybe there is potential to see more of them.

    (Everybody was released as a pre-debut song and was later included in their debut mini album. They went on to promote it with '1 the 9' in mushows).


    I would describe as bright and fun like '1 the 9' is but it's a bit less cutesy and more cool.


    Maybe there is potential for their cb to do something like that again since Eunsang voiced interest in it. We'll see!

    been following them since pre-debut and even 2 members when they were in Seven O'clock they were done dirty by the music being louder than their vocals by no fault of their own because they were PERFECT on all the K-stages they performed on. They took part in writing their songs and Taeyoung composed them all. One of the members even did the entire choreography for Infection. They have the potential to go places doing their own work and having that freedom.


    2nd is Trendz

    Their debut song was so good and their b-side villain is AMAZING. Not to mention JinJin from Astro wrote it! They are having a comeback and those songs sound amazing already. I have high hopes for them.


    3rd is Nine.I

    I really liked their debut song and their album. It's not HUGE for me, but it's nice to hear and they have potential.


    4th is Blank2y

    I began to follow them the moment i found out Taewoo from 1the9 and Avin from Enoi were in the group. The company had a very unique, interesting way of introducing the members and showing teasers/spoilers i haven't seen previously being done. However, their debut song sounded like a generic song any boy group could sing. So i was not impressed with their debut album. But again, they have room to grow.


    I do like JinJin and Rocky in Astro however, I wanted to hear some bad ass amazing rapping and some great shit and I didn't hear that in the TT or the b-sides so i was a bit disappointed but I still loved them.

    Oh, I really like this! :music-raccoon: It blends their styles together pretty well.
