talent wise, ive is rather weak

    dancing: their dance line is gaeul, wonyoung, and yujin. the fact that yujin and wonyoung with their average dancing are there should already tell you how weak their dance line is. gaeul has never even stood out despite being the main dancer and her dancing is just mediocre. people criticize karina as an average dancer but i think karina is better than gaeul. i think starship should have either pushed gaeul to become a better dancer or invested in another trainee. they should have tried to recruit chaeyeon or something.


    singing: all of them are in the vocal line minus gaeul so ill just assess the main and lead vocalist. liz is a good vocalist but not good enough to be main. literally any other 4th gen group's main vocalist would eat her up. yujin is a good vocalist to and good enough to be lead but i def think that liz is also lead vocalist material. starship should have really invested in getting a vocal that would give ive the oomph they need.


    rapping: their rap line is rei and gaeul. rei is good (the rap she wrote was good) but gaeul is... really average. im honestly not sure why she's even in the group. she really doesnt bring anything.


    overall, their strongest line is their rap line not because rei is so good but because their singing and dancing line is so weak. rei is alright but i think she's just equal to some of the other 4th gg rap lines (itzy, nmixx, purple kiss, lightsum) or worse than (gidle, aespa). talentwise, ive is honestly very underwhelming.

    starship isn't on big 3's level. they do not have much resources to train and scout trainees like big 3 or 4 does. talented or visually appealing people or those that have both will always choose to be in a big company where their future would already be set if they debuted. which is why it is very impressive that ive is one of the top ggs right now despite coming from mid level company.

    Yeah they aren't standout in dancing,vocals and rap and it's annoying how some dives said they are better vocalists than le sserafim and that rei is one of the best gg rapper ever.

    yujin is not an average dancer lol. She may not be chaeryeong's level but she's deffo not average. I also feel like Liz is a good singer and fit for main vocalist, she'll improve with time (although their vocals as a group are on the weaker side).

    why you all try so hard to make look like there's a real good and real rapper besides soyeon among the mains 4th gen girlgroups

    I watched no mercy and you can tell they have less resources to scout good idols. Half of them barely had any talent nor were they interesting except for the members that made the line up. Starship is just good at selecting the best ones. Monsta x have many talented members, but if you pay close attention you'll notice that they were pretty old for idol's standard when they debuted since most big companies already debuted a boygroup recently or had plans to when some of them started training, so a few members maybe felt like they didn't have a choice but to try at a smaller one knowing they couldn't afford to waste time and maybe not be picked in the end or becoming too old for the next group. Shownu was in jyp and wonho had a past (went to juvenile) that maybe he was worried the company would find out (smaller companies do less research and even when they do, are more willing to take a trainee usually since there's less concurrention). It's true that there's many talented idols in smaller companies too, but you can't deny it's harder for a smaller company to find them. And it's not like starship is a nugu company either. If they were, many of their idols probably wouldn't have auditioned there in the first place. And bts was honestly a wonder

    You definitely dont know anything about Starship artists if you say they don't have as many resources as big4 to train and scout their trainees. Do you even know who are IVE's former or current labelmates? Please refrain from talking if you're just just gonna come up with random stuff out of your ***, will be far less embarrassing.

    As long as they serve good concepts, have good music, and sing in their range, they don't really need to be the best at anything else, to be honest.

    They already have one IT girl (for 4th gen standards) in Wonyoung and one in the making (Yujin). Plus the other members seem like nice girls and fit with the concepts given to them.

    they are at the same level as stayc imo, not great dancer or amazing vocalist, but enough members do their part and there's no big gap of talent. just a group full of equally talented people but nobody outstanding

    IVE is the most untalented group of this gen. Their music is very generic as well. I can't think of a more mediocre group.
