Bad song choice. Might have been good as a b side. SM is really not in touch with what type of music kpop fans actually want. A girl group is reliant on casual fans both in Korea and internationally who will tune in and these won’t make anyone tune into Aespa.
Well I wish the best for them.
SM's out of touch with a lot of things this past few years, bad promotions, weird title track choices, dungeon their groups from the top of my head, like i get to miss at one of those but to miss all of them is a bit to much for a big company as them.
Bad songs choice, is not bad per say, is just boring, it would be fine as b-side, the girls sing good how i was expected, the mv is cute but has no reply value, a miss comeback (you can even call it a comeback?), if they wanted so badly to remake something, The Grace is out there, they chose the most boring song alive to remake...
edit: i understood wrong, sad for them
Is the most popular song of the week, they need to compare sales for songs not albums so digital sales being counted that much is right
Nobody knows, if 5 years ago somebody would have said a boy group would have sold 1 mil for a single album i'll say there is a long time until it happens and small chances to even happen, let alone a gg.
Agree, the love triangle between Bloom, Stella and Sky killed me, Flora and Tecna disappeared, why did they even changed Musa's powers? The rest of specialists also disappeared, the trio of witches disappeared, the girls aren't even fairies since they don't transform, they are witches. The show has nothing to do with Winx Club.
Is even confirmed that she's part taiwanese? I don't think it was proved anywhere
I'm pretty sure she's one of most popular inside the fandom and her fanbase is pretty big individually, she's the least popular for general public
None of them are rappers, neither is Yena but she at least sounds like she's rapping, the others are just talking.
main difference i think is that unlike wanna one or x1 there is legit no other produce group to take over, there's no alternative or back up. they lose izone they lose their entire music division. so they might push harder on this than previous groups.
worth noting is that unlike other produce groups which was marketed 100% towards the korean gp, izone also japan and vernalossom to add to the equation. there is no way in hell any post izone group would have an even close level of popularity or sales that they are getting in japan, not just because fans wont care about them anymore but they MIGHT (AND THATS A BIG MIGHT) legit run into the trouble of having to fight vernalossom in the future (vernalossom and its web of connections and wealth certainly has enough capital to wall off any meaningful attemp to break into japan.
CJ had made other survival shows like I Land, I Land season 2 will happen this year too with permanent groups and it doesn't matter what CJ or what other japanese label wants or not, if the companies don't want to let their idols into Cj for 2% of profits, is nothing they can't do and most of companies don't want. Izone is doing fine but Wanna One did way better than izone in literally anything, digitals, physical sales, concerts, cfs, individual recognition and variety shows, if Wanna One couldn't become permanent, i don't see any chance for Izone either.
