My answer is yes, depending on the group.
There are some groups who consistently come back with only a good title track and very average b-sides.
Then there are groups (in my experience, fx, Red Velvet, G-IDLE) who release b-sides that are sometimes arguably better than their title tracks.
There's a reason those songs are charting even without promotion and it's because
They're good. Really good.
Quality b-sides deserve to chart well and be promoted.

I always found myself liking these 3 GGs the most. I'm gonna be taking a break, so I'm planning to spend my leisure by checking out content from one of these GGs. Before you ask me to check each group out, I don't think I'll have enough time to do so. I really want to focus on one group only.
So I'll leave it to you guys. All these groups are precious to me, but I can't give my love to all.

They feel more... close/present? Like I don't have to worry about them disappearing for like a year. Also their music is VERY diverse and their b-sides are all title track material.
