I honestly don’t think the girls have the experience to setup and manage their own company. It’s a big step and honestly very few idols manage to do it, even if they do it’s tends to be very male dominated (Rain, PSY, JP etc), guess that’s business for you. I do think Rose will stick with YG or TBL, I just don’t see her going anywhere else. Honestly, my hope was that they moved to HYBE, it’s the only company that I see them fitting in, the backing, connections and finances to support them. Though it’s more than the company, I have a feeling BP may just renewal due to the staff, their team, support and people they’ve bonded with at YG. Not to mention HYBE just spent a fortune on renewing BTS so I highly doubt they’ll offer a good deal to BP…..but waiting for all the drama for when the confirmation comes out lol 😂

im not even a blink but im rooting for bp to leave yg bc they get a comeback every two years and ik thats yg´s strat or wtvr but it sucks for arguably the most popular kpop group behind bts to have comebacks so infrequently, plus realistically they could sign to whatever label they wanted, even internationally
Same here lol, I’ll be amazed if they renewed, negotiations don’t take this long and YG would not have left their most important artist last minute. I mean look at the BTS renewal, that was done and dusted. YG does not have that mentor and mentee relation with BP, not like the same way BTS and Bang PD have it. If BP don’t have this sentimental relationship with management, what’s the point of sticking around, they were probably offered shit terms as well in the contract. My best guess is Jisoo signing with an acting label in SK, Rose with the TBL, Jennie going to HYBE and Lisa going independent, all with the same commitment to BP as previously but really focusing on their solo stuff lol 😂

YG has more leverage than blinks realise, if they think the girls can ask for whatever they want, they’re wrong otherwise it would have already been a done deal lol. YG has the power to push back, after all the BP brand belongs to them and they built it. It’s like the biggest leverage lol!! If you see their content without the BP name or not uploaded on their channel, it barely gets the views compared when the BP name is attached. But oc the girls will have their instagram accounts so they can still live off that…

Doesn’t look like it’s good news that it’s taking this long. Normally that means a disagreement between the artist and the company, there is no way in hell they would have left their biggest act’s negotiation this late, definitively looking like they’re not renewing. I think this is also a big sign that BP is not bigger than YG, the company must be pushing back on their demands and trying to get a better deal their end. Otherwise this would have been done and dusted by now if YG just agreed to their terms…..

Jesus. I had no clue it was still going this strong. I didnt like this song at all, Lalisa was 100x better but i cant complain about this accomplishment. From a literal B side to this, it's crazy how viral it became, it feels like the Kpop solo version of Drivers License or Cupid.
I remember pontificating over Lisa being the biggest individual idol in the world a few years back before 4th gen took over and while BP and BTS and Twice were still duking it out. So the question should be asked again... is she the single biggest idol in the world? I think JK is the only one to challenge her, Seven looks like it is going on a rampage right now.
Hard one, I personally don’t think she is. It’s funny to see blinks and army argue this one. If you truly go outside of the K pop bubble, most people ONLY know PSY and Gangnam Style. Forget about Lisa and JK, BP and BTS lol. Money is her biggest hit but she really owe ALOT of that to Squid Game, even by her own words in her interview, she said her song went “viral” because of the show. LaLisa didn’t perform well really other than YT views which is always a given with BP as their videos are great to watch. So really it’s hard to say she’s the biggest idol given she’s not got the numbers behind her. She needs a song which does well on her own merits. I mean she does have alot of inst followers but I don’t look at that as it’s not a great indicator of who the public knows….

Actually statistically millionaire women earn more than millionaire men on average in us. I think main reason for that is because women prefer safer investment strategies than men while men take more risks.

Statically MEN EARN MORE FULL STOP, it’s called the gender inequality that women have been fighting for years. I think BTS, statistically men earn more. Not to mention BTS will definitely have a much better contract than the BP members, they built their company, the shares they have in HYBE is prove, big entertainment companies are not usually this generous and likelihood this will not happen again in SK. Foreign members are also paid less so Lisa will likely take home less than the other girls. I just amazed that Suga managed to bank 1/4 of what the BP concerts pulled in this year given he did less…..so he’s definitely making bank

I mean yea BTS and BP have done amazing on YT but in terms of out charting their Western counter parts, their streams ALWAYS slow down, Google it, they don’t have a single song in the top 30 most streamed videos lol, PSY will always rule that record for Kpop.
