Wut? Bad Boy is literally the entire reason why we're suffering through the New Jeansification of Kpop right now. Every single New Jeans song can be traced back to it. We need to go back in time and erase Bad Boy from existence, then maybe we'll have some semblance of normalcy and real Kpop music again.

HYBE will NEVER allow him to work on their groups or anything involving lmao.
There was a rumor back in 2021 that when HYBE first wanted to buy shares in SM, that Lee Sooman said that he'll do it, only if he gets a seat as a board member in HYBE, and HYBE refused, so nothing came of it.
HYBE know damn well they ain't putting in a contract for Lee Sooman to work with them.
They just said that he can't make any music in Korea for 3 years, but can still produce music outside of Korea...so like China or somewhere in Japan or America

Lmao he can't come back to SM.
HYBE getting the rest of Sooman shares soon, which will make HYBE go from 14.8% to 18.5% in SM shares.
And since he won't have any shares left, he can't manage anything or have any power in decisions in SM.
But yeah his position in SM in terms of handling everything is gone

It seems SM will be safest in HYBE’s hands vs Kakao because one specializes in music and the other specializes in tech.
LSM clearly has a vision for SM and in the joint statement with Bang Shi Hyuk, HYBE mentions supporting the metaverse, SM 3.0 multi-label system etc which shows they are more than willing to let SM be in creative control of what they do in terms of re-structuring and artistic direction albeit a few changes in management perhaps? Similar to ADOR, PLEDIS and Source Music all having creative control in what they do but receiving investment/resources from HYBE.
Chris Lee is sly and SM has been so badly mismanaged the past few years ever since he became CEO. Like really really bad management. Perhaps LSM’s crazy idea to sell to HYBE is actually a blessing in disguise for SM. Only time will tell.
I feel like HYBE not about to just come and change stuff up.
Now that they have majority shares, I know they gonna want what's best for the company and obviously gonna wanna make money.
So they not about to do something bad to it
