So there's a viral post like this on theqoo (1400 comments). There's a link to an actual news article on naver as the source. The source of that article I guess is statements made by HYBE about what they found.

Now it's getting to a point where I'm not sure if she's crazy enough to go there or if this is some smear campaign meant to completely ruin her reputation before they get replace her.

How convenient is it for HYBE to find an "internal memo" containing something this insane? Why would it ever be written in a memo and stored to begin with. Something seems off :melon_think:

This is the hardest poll ever, I can't choose.

If we ignore the questionable art at her home and Cookie (which isn't that easy to do tbh) and focus on the matter at hand only then it's very tempting to side with MHJ, I think the anger is justified. The brand they worked hard to build and succeeded with spectacularly has gotten diluted to some extent by their own company. I assumed ADOR knew about the plans and were fine with it, kind of shocking to find out HYBE just went ahead with it.

But at the same time ADOR seems to be completely screwed because

    - HYBE owns 80% and can just insert their own directors unless there is some strict contract clause preventing it (unlikely)

    - They might be in serious trouble if the accusations by HYBE are true, laws may have been broken - not just contract breach

I don't think the last 2 options are even possible. In the end HYBE owns 80% and there's just no way they'd do anything that leads losing NJ. I think option #1 is just overwhelmingly likely here, HYBE should easily be able to remove her with such a overwhelming majority of the ownership :melon_think:

I'm not even sure how MHJ plans to fight this, feels like all the bridges have been burned now after the latest statement. I don't think there is any legitimate claim for intellectual property.

It seems like FNC really wanted to close this chapter and cut their losses. They took forever to capitalize on the Queendom Puzzle apperance and when they finally had a comeback it was with their worst song. After that it's just been complete silence. Ironically, they had their best sales for the last comeback so fans got some false hope for the future of the group.

I can't help but to feel that it could have been turned around after Queendom Puzzle but FNC completely wasted the opportunity.

I've never understood the hate for pannchoa

The only legitimate reason to hate that site is that they're profiting off of extremely low effort content (translating viral posts). It's a valid reason but in the end the site exists because there is a demand for it.

In general they just tend to translate anything that is related to K-Pop and goes viral on one of the major discussion sites in Korea. Whether that is viral or not is more up to knetz, not the site that translates.

They do sometimes make a questionable selection of 10 comments to translate but on average it's pretty accurate.

Recent case to illustrate the point: LSFM at Coachella. They've had a crazy amount of translated posts regarding this topic. I've seen multiple accusations towards pannchoa about 'spreading hate' regarding it. In reality the amount of viral posts is 3-5x higher than the amount of posts pannchoa translated. You can very easily verify for yourself by visiting theqoo or pann.

Seeing how IVE ended up I don't think necessarily a bad thing at all. It might even be a good thing for Babymonster to have an "it girl" that the even the general public is interested in.

In the end, the other members will also reap the benefits in some form. Hypothetically, IVE without Wonyoung would never have have become anywhere near as popular. It's probably the same with BP and Jennie/Lisa.

I might go as far as saying having Ahyeon is their advantage and what sets them apart from other 5th gen groups.

I wonder if these are for the 2nd title track since it seems quite different from the first 2 sets.

Either way these are 10/10. Starship has really outdone themselves this time.

Every time I'm impressed by Leeseo, might be her era tbh :melon_think:

IVE is going to be fine. They sing with at least a 50% volume vocal backing track.

I'm hoping it'll be a hand mic performance, they tend to go for a lower backtrack when they use hand mics.

Either way Starship seems to do a good job at setting them up to succeed and getting the most out of their abilities so there should be nothing to worry about.
