I think Sejeong would be a better comparison. They have more in common, being former members of produce girl groups and now focusing more on acting.

Whers this data from? It doesnt make much sense..Like, ko woo rim at #2?
Looking directly at trends.google.com it doesnt match up at all. IU which is not even included here is above everyone on this list for example. I thought it was the typical "shes not kpop" but then again, lee seunggi is included on it so,..also no BTS or bts member in top 10....
The list is based on most increased searches compared to last year; it doesn’t actually show who the most searched artist is. And for anyone wondering, Go yoorim is the newly wed husband of Kim Yuna.

This song has some crazy longevity fr, does anyone know what it’s peak UL is?
Peak UL for melon daily chart is 357,582 according to guysome.
-
Isn’t the Gaon streaming chart basically the representation of the sum of ULs on all charts? I think it’s more relevant to what people actually listen to compared to the digital chart.

Why is melon not working?!
Apparently there’s been a fire at Kakao’s data center. Most of Kakao’s services including melon aren’t working (article is in korean)

have IU released something this year? or her last year song is eligible?
Songs released during the period of 2021.10.01~2022.10.05 are eligible. IU has 2 releases(strawberry moon and Pieces) from last year that are eligible.

I think it's harder to get 3 hits at once. The only group capable of doing that before newjeans was BigBang. Even iu didn't have 3 hits simultaneously i think.
However, many top groups had 3 consecutive hit comebacks (bts, bp, twice, mamamoo, gfriend, red velvet and many other 1st and 2nd generation groups).
If we’re considering Bigbang’s monthly release as ‘simultaneous’ then I think IU’s 3 songs from Palette(Through the Night, Can’t love you anymore, Palette, 2 week gap between each release) can be considered simultaneous as well.

Does anyone know why Jannabi's songs are rising?
I think his appearance on Hidden Singer went viral.

Oh, I just used the list in Wikipedia, but I didn't count the label events with multiple groups since it wasn't a single group headlining. What's the full list?
Here’s the full list of Korean artists who have held a concert at Jamsil
- H.O.T. (1999, 2001, 2018 2 times)
- god (2001, 2014)
- Cho Yong-Pil (2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010 2 times, 2018)
- Sinhwa (2005)
- Lee Seung-Hwan (2007)
- Lee Seung-Cheol (2010)
- JYJ (2010, 2014)
- Lee Moon-Sae (2013)
- Seo Taeji (2014, 2017)
- EXO (2017 2 times)
- BTS (2018 2 times, 2019 3 times, 2022 3 times)
- psy (2022 3 times)
- NCT DREAM (2022 2 times)
- IU (2022 2 times)
- NCT 127 (2022 2 times)
However even within these acts, only a handful of them had 40k+ capacity per day.

Would be good to have a financial year end chart then. Or something that measures 6 months performance for all songs, to get a better understanding.
Not important, just more of a curiosity.

The data is available on the genie app.
-
EDEM has 7.3 million ULs and 443.7 million streams.
Does anyone have a list of songs in order of ULs?
-
Yup. While 24 hits might have hindered new songs from rising on charts, it definately made it easier for songs that reached the top to maintain their peak for longer.
-
Just went through the melon monthly charts and made a list of songs that got no.1 for at least two months.
3 months at no.1-
Dynamite(BTS)
Rollin(Brave Girls)
2 months at no.1-
Gee(SNSD)
I will come to you like the first snow(Ailee)
Like it(Yoon Jong-Shin)
Last farewell(Bigbang)
So hot(Wonder Girls)
Eight(IU)
VVS(SMTM9)
Stay(The Kid Laroi, Justin Bieber)
There may be songs that I've missed, but out of the songs I've found there are 2 songs that stayed at no.1 for 3 months and 11 songs that stayed at no.1 for 2 months.
