Okay, I feel completely out of place on this topic. I think this whole topic is a private matter as long as he did not force anyone or did it with underage girls.
There are always two sides and even though I think it is morally reprehensible (if he did it) I don't think the girls are truly just victims. If he didn't force them to buy the things, then that goes back more to stupidity and naivety. Still, no one should be treated that way and I can still understand the anger. Maybe I would react the same way.
But as I said at the beginning. Should remain a private thing, as long as he hasn't used fans (which I somehow also read out).

I think the private life of a star always makes curious, especially if you like this person, but it should rather remain curious in the positive sense. It's none of the fans business who they are with or if they have made a mistake like cheating.
These are private things and none of the people who judge would want that other people know their secrets / private things too.
Sometimes I think that people don't realize idols are real people with real feelings.

I think people always try to find something negative about BTS. But like you said, if the biggest kpop act didn't achieve it, it doesn't make much sense to make fun of them because their own faves didn't achieve it too.
And my opinion to Psy and Gangnam Style: Psy was the biggest act for a very short time. BTS is the biggest act since 2016/2017. Yes, Gangnam style was popular and big and it is still the biggest kpop song of all time (even when it didn't chart like Dynamite or Butter) but some people pretend like Psy did great there for years.
Gangnam Style was poplar because of the dance and not because of the song. At least not in the western market. I mean outside of korea people liked the song too (of course) but the dance did the hype. For western fans Psy is a one hit wonder and some kpop fans pretend like he is the standard just to bring BTS down. Funny.
