It's an absolutely gorgeous song. I always find myself in love with the Japanese releases (with the exception of Stay Gold, which i liked but didn't particularly loved).

You are the death of me lol.
Fine, Dynamite was like a rocket that came out of nowhere, it exceeded every expectation imaginable. Like NO ONE ON EARTH couldve predicted its success lol. But i STILL have a hard time calling it a Kpop or even a Korean song. TBH i wish LGO or Telepathy were the tracks that earned all of Dyna's accolades, i'd be far happier and accepting lol.
And honestly, i'm not even really arguing with Army. I'm arguing with my own fandom who seem to be too scared to speak up for the girls. The girls are doing things nobody thought was ever possible for a GG without a giant fandom. Yet Blinks on here seem almost apologetic about it, instead of proud. Like wut?
I know it hurts when I make you acknowledge reality =)))
I mean, whether you slot BTS into KPop or not, that wasn't the question of this thread, but simply who is bigger in Korea. And that's really a non-question, it's so glaringly obvious.
Feel free to call out your fandom all you want - sounds like a very successful thread you could make =)))

no one insulted anyone here.
Why should I? I'm literally quoting FACTS.
Why are Blinks so intimidated on this forum? It's unfathomable. Like, stand up for your girls ffs?! Why let Army or any other fandom walk all over your biases' accomplishments? It's mindboggling, Army and everyone other fandom go all out to defend their faves but y'all just wanna roll over? Why?
HYLT broke records, so did LSG. GP loved these songs, they clearly outperformed On, BS, and LGO, but Blinks wanna let others downplay and rewrite the hard work the girls put into all their achievements????
ETA: like i said, just ask our chartmaster MassiveKpopFan .
i'm going to keep quoting you with DYNAMITE spelled in all caps until you acknowledge the existence of this song :)

Y'all realize that BP easily outperformed BTS with their Korean songs last year, right? LSG and HYLT dominated On, Black Swan, and Life Goes On.
this thread was going so well until you came along.
I have one word for you: Dynamite, the one to rule them all.

armys will support him no matter what but he doesn't care about the charts. i assume he's worried and pressured if armys would like his music, he's aware his music preference isn't really mainstream.
i will never forget this scene, it was both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time
ARMY will support him ofc, but if it's an "official" release, then it's not just his decision anymore on what gets released etc. BH would have an input.
Anyway, i'm sure any BTS solo, when the times comes, will perform well. They each have their own individual style that appeals to certain audiences, and the majority of ARMY are still OT7 and will support any member.

I for one am very, very happy BigHit gives them the possibility to release such quality content for free, instead of trying to capitalize on it. It makes it even more stressful for the members, since making it so "official" comes with the added burden of it having to perform well. And when you're a BTS member, that's a fucking tall order.
JK and Tae are stressed enough as it is over it, without the added pressure of worrying about how it sells, how it charts etc.
Moreover - and I'm especially thinking of Tae here - the music he likes to write for himself is different than the solo songs he's had under BTS. Likely because his style is a little more niche, and might not be considered marketable if left as he writes them. This way he doesn't have to struggle between what he'd like to write, and what he thinks would be more agreeable to fans. i just want him to be able to fully express himself without added pressure, and a mixtape is the best outlet for it.

I think even logically looking at album sales and availability globally.. I think YG’s acts are the ones with problems (not enough, late, not available etc) compared to BH’s. I am still sceptical with YG’s competence because of their past track records. They better not fxck up BTS’ albums distribution
yeah, i'm a bit anxious as well i hate when companies try to fix a thing that isn't going wrong in the first place.

I'm sorry the facts are so upsetting to you. Didn't mean to upset you.
Yes, the SFX/VFX venue being built on property owned by YG is a partnership among YG/BH/Naver which will host Venew.
Not attaching YG to anything. BH approached YGPlus about distribution, since they were having issues with it.
YG has been expanding into various industries for about 10 years now and has diversified businesses among about a dozen subsidiaries, just like Big Hit is doing now, which is a smart move by them.
No, YG invested into their subsidiary just like BH invested into YG's subsidiary.
we're going to need some sources for those distribution issues you claim BigHit had with the albums, and for which they needed YGPlus's help.
