There's a 2nd gen feel to these pictures, those with the chrome background especially.
HA I was thinking the same, it remindwd me of 2NE1!
Bling is not my thing (lol), but these girls release good stuff 99% of the time, so I'm looking forward to it!

There is definitely such a thing as performance song Vs not. A song can be my fav and yet I’d never bother with it live and a song may not even make my top 10 but I love its performance.
you managed to nail my view on aespa. Honestly.
I like some of their songs and I occasionally listen to them but I have no interest in watching their performances. There's something missing that I can't put my finger on. I don't know if it's the choice of choreo, but they seem a but robotic and don't have a lot of stage charisma. It may be because the 4 of them do the same moves constantly (and not having moments where 1 member does 1 thing while the other does a completely different move.

Any music released after 2003/4-ish I could never enjoy for real. And the club like scene of the 2010's was appalling to me, Icona Pop was so cringe thank god Lana del Rey came to save my noughties. This to say this release (besides being ANOTHER english kpop release, sigh) does nothing to me.
From all the retro fads, I wish we could have the 80's again. I miss Queen Roly Poly.
I've got no problem sampling or remaking previous songs, since most new music is utter trash. Do i really need to upload Jack Harblow again, or some of these Kpop jingles that everyone is enamored with, to prove this point?

We'll definitely get something special in June.
Ten years ago nobody would've EVER predicted Mamamoo would become the legends they are today, successfully wrapping up a world tour.
I don't care if they're not at their peaks anymore. They proved all the haters and doubters wrong
I dont care either, I just want them to RELEASE MUSIC AS 4
AND be acknowledged

YAS vocal king, I'm starved here!
One of the best solo careers in kpop, that's for sure.

MooMoo here
Sad the way things turned out, some of the only true vocal talents in the last years of kpop.

I wonder if they'll ever pull a LOVESONG again...

I agree even though yes now they surpassed BTS as number one boy group. The issue is they can't keep up that momentum as military enlistment ia coming up soon for the group, and with a group this size they'd be looking at a super Junior level reunion as it would take well over ten years for the group to be whole after everyone did military service
Hopefully they'll pull a BTS and be done with it ASAP.
I never paid attention to their songs besides Left and Right, and then Super. What a performance!
I LOVE MY TEAM, I LOVE MY CREW

I just want to hug every single post here.
FL made me a hard stan, and I wasn't a fan of boy groups - after all I was a huge SNSD stan before I discovered BTS. I won't repeat everything that OP mentioned because that's exactly how I feel.
But I'd like to add also like someone else said the MOTS era. I was a big ehhh with Boy With Luv and the Persona album tbh but then 7 and Black Swan was released. Sigh. It also hits all the points you mentioned. The lyrics matching the choreography. Lots of different stages (even though we were in thr peak of the pandemic!), with the most epic ones being the James Corden (eh) show, the MMA stage (or was it MAMA?) where JK picks Jimin up, and of course, the beautiful huge wings choreo of the PTD concerts.
This is peak BTS to me. There's a message, good vocals, good rap, and a choreography thay matches the lyrics and blows your mind.
And then people wonder what's so good about them.
OP, I was windblown back then how Jimin could drop to the floor like that and without getting hurt when he simulates the marionette haha. I was

Neither, even though I like both groups

He was the reason I fell down the rabbit hole. His dance skills are so mesmerizing. He's so light and delicate but can also do powerful moves - even though it still feels like it has his own touch.
Yesterday I was watching black swan performances again and he's just a delight to watch. It's like the choreo was made for him.

I'm so excited for her solo music
Same, she seems to have a pretty nice personal taste of music and that might influence her releases.

A fan that stans one group, which is clearly their ult.
However, otherwise moves like a multi fan.
So, basically talking about myself here.
I stan BTS, buy all their albums, listen to a lot of their music, keep up with a lot of their content.
Apart from them, I also buy albums from other groups, but in a way more haphazard kind of way. So I buy one from one group and maybe then the next one, then also from another group. Also, stream a lot of random groups and spend time supporting them. Sometimes for a long while and sometimes just 1-2 comebacks.
Love it when people stan their groups and often enjoy hyping along when a group does well, supporting stream goals people set etc.
Are you this type of fan too?
Also, would that still be a multi? There is a clear difference in how I stan my ult and the other groups.
You are my fave army
