127 will also comeback this year...
Semicolon was a special album and only had 1 standard version. The 13 versions were just the special copies and only 100k were printed, so based off the sales those 1M sales out of 1.1M sales are only the 1 standard version. The ratio is absolutely great and especially considering how they were able to sell a million with just a single version with back-to-back comebacks— especially for a comeback Carats came to know about literally a week before the release.
Resonance pt.2 is a repack and was released like 20 days after the pt.1, and they still managed to sell 1.5M with pt.1 and 1.3M with pt.2
Their achievements, overall sales, streams, touring are greater still greater than each sub-unit.
Only if you are comparing svt with the sub units, NCT already outsold svt overall and in a single release, NCT Dream outcharted them...
Latest comebacks...
spotify:
kick it - 59M
Make a wish - 54M
Left and right - 44M
Home-run - 22M
Youtube:
Left and right - 84M
Home-run - 52M
kick it - 119M
Make a wish - 183M
The only thing you can argue is touring , but no one is touring for more than a year...
-
kick it got more likes tho (110k)
L&R 82k.
-
Peak doesn't matter, Punch charted for 2 weeks and fell out. L&R got 120 million+ points.
it is fairer to compare with "kick it" the title track of neo zone...

Users in those forums always overreact like always. I miss floppy and all the others trolls with their fun threads these were 100x better than these kind of thread with fans who just overrate their faves achievements and spread fake numbers to feel superior.
SKZ good Spotify streams are becoming overrated because their fans.
The same with nct stans with digital performance being 32# on melon and Yt adds dosent make them a digital monster.
The same with svt.
All these groups don't have any big achievements but their fans fighting each others for their live.
1.7M pre-orders are not a big achievement ?
Ok...

Thats huge!
Most bgs cant even chart with title tracks...

Ok from what I read is NCT is below 17 and stray kidz because 17 can sell domes and NCT never did (even though their growth that started these comparisons was in 2020 ie when they can’t hold concerts anytime to compare except online concerts; which they were the best selling bg at after BTS).
And they are below stray kids because one unit from NCT doesn’t have as much Spotify numbers as stray kids (even though a unit has less songs to compare and obviously the whole NCT group not units have more anyway).
So if an NCT unit had the same/more spotify numbers and nct sold domes, will this end your argument? Just curious
nah, they will make another narrative to dismiss NCT success, like always...
"NCT are flops"
NCT already sold 11M albums, 12/13 by the end of the year...
"They just sold this much bcs they have 23 members..."i mean this even makes sense? lol
NCT dream double million-seller with 7 members

From a bundles tracking page:pasted-from-clipboard.png

Stray Kids: 1.3bi streams
NCT (all units although it doesn't make any sense to compare 3 different groups added to a group with a 3-year career): 2bi streams
at last Stray Kids will pass all NCT units streams soon 🤷♂️ who cares
lol, if we are counting NCT, then there's no chance for skz...
and they are not surpassing NCT anytime soon.
I really don't care, I just found it cringe, this narrative that skz is doing AMAZING on streams and NCT is flopping or doing bad at it

It did have merch bundles. First one had merch + tour bundles, second one only merch bundles.
Why are you claiming these US sales are legit, when they have no US streams and cant even do well on US itunes? Its clear something shady is going on. Adding SM's penchant for chart manipulation and proven fraud on Billboard...
resonance is in the top 10 Best Selling Pure Albums of 2020 (US), with no bundles

lmao, you made this looks like there's a huge gap or something...
Gods menu - 98
Miroh - 89M
Backdoor - 65M
My Pace - 54M
Hellevator - 53M
Boss - 85M
Cherry Bomb - 82M
Boom - 70M
Kick it - 59M

It's almost like they are all part of NCT. And depends on what you define as "the industry". Separating them won't make much difference anyways as they have 2 million seller units. They are at the top of the game even separating them. But anyways NCT is NCT. A 23 member-group and brand which took a lot of risks and paid off, and now that they are too succesfull it's suddenly unfair. Even if we were only talking about NCT as their yearly projects Resonance PT.1 alone became the best selling album ever under SM and with the part 2 Resonance sold +2,700,000 units. Acting like NCT isn't up there is just delusion at this point.
This!

i'm pretty sure they will when covid is over...
But lets be real, isnt just "a day for digital charting".
*Physicals
*Digitals
*Streams/views

They could've definitely gotten a PAK with the old Melon chart. Congrats!
