Unpopular Opinion:
"HWAA" was just overhyped to be honest. I mean, it's a great achievement to be #1 in the Melon old system. But we have the new system now that's more credible because mass streaming is not accounted for. For me, it's not even their best song.
(G)I-DLE is on their way to the top, but "HWAA" I must say is still not THAT song.
No hate, just my opinion.
Just ‘overhyped’..lol... it’s funny how a nonbig3 is overhyped? Named another debut #1 on melon and top15 from the 4th gen... yea they are the real deal.. deal with it... and hype ur favs they need it.

As someone who stans both they better not
I can speak for nevies, at least on akp, most of us are not focusing on other groups in comparison with idle. We have our own path and we all know how difficult is. But the fandom becomes stronger each cb and I'm glad to see the taglist has become so big these days.
Itzy and idle are friends irl and we share a lot of multi-stans. Both groups can become successful in their own right. Their potential is up there and all of us know that both groups are very talented.
Well said. It’s not a zero sum game.. both can be successful. It’s seem both fandom mind their own business unless someone tries to defame the members. Always love bts in award show and collabs.

I think SK is finally giving them their due. They been talented since debut..3x win for both latata and hann with Soyeon collab in KDA and wow thing in 2018. But in Korea seniority matters so they have to work hard and keep proving themselves with each release before they get any credit. Queendom, Lion, OMG, and Dumdi showed their diverse concept/discography while still consistent on charts.
Also I have to give a lot of credit to soyeon..her music is a given but for leading the group and helping each member shine and grow..
