It feels good but never reach the orgasm :-)

eAeon is one of my favorite artists but his music is VERY NICHE. So while people might initially check it out for RM, it's not a music style that appeals to a lot of people, let alone the general public.

LoFi / Vibe music / Lo-RnB-Tech isn't huge in Korea and it's a very new genre being introduced in the underground/indie scene right now.

That being said, the song is AMAZING and I love how well eAeon's and RM's vocals mesh together :borahae:<3

"Don't" feels like a foreplay, it feels good but never reach the orgasm :lover1:

Like these are rich people endorsing rich items which only rich people can buy and here are kpop fans bragging about it like an achievement as if it just don't show you that you are poor? I thought the motto was eat the rich, pro-socialism, progressivism, anti capitalism and help the poor?

I understand celebrities endorsing luxury brands. They live that lifestyle and are needed to spend a certain amount of money to be eligible for some perks like black cards etc. Only endorsing low end brands will be tokenism. But I don't get why fans think that's an achievement? These celebrities are getting paid/rented these clothes for a show life, a life which you will never lead. Is this because kpop fans generally live through their idols and this is the only way they can live through some of their luxury fantasies?

You're wrong in BTS case. If you check out the endorsement list of BTS, at the beginning of their career it is mainly for getting additional income for the artists (just like other KPOP group), but along the way with their career journey as musician, endorsing is much more than merely a source of additional money, it become a too/platforml for them either to promote the music/career or to support small-mid local businesses. I just put some cases here: 1) Seoul city was worried they can't pay BTS anymore when the boys become prominent global artist, but then we see BTS extended their collab with seoul city. 2) Mc Donald BTS meal is not just simple endorsement, it has something to do with their come back promotion (judging from the hype coming not only from ARMY but also from Colombia Record and Debbie White their lawyer. 3) LV house ambassador is a proof case that BTS with 7 member is a brand itself that they won't compromise to just only be involved with such luxury brand. Those endorsement in BTS cases are very interesting to learn of, and also nothing wrong for ARMY to clap back other fandoms who have insulted/shading BTS without reason just because the boys didn't endorse luxury brand before.

BTW don't underestimate the purchase power of BTS ARMY, there is considerable amount of well-off fans in such a huge fandom who made BTS is the BEST selling artist in the WORLD (go check IFPI chart if you don't know yet how huge BTS position in global music industry)

HUH? ... why pointing out the biggest share holder ? BTS collab with the TOP luxurious brand (Dior is below LV in term of BRAND VALUE), not with the share holder.

Ooh. I checked his music he has a nice voice. I can’t wait to listen this but what going on these past days. Great news after great news. Not like I’m complaining 😬

This is too plain to my taste, similar to most of Tae's songs except 'blue and grey'.

I hope the song has uniqueness like 'Lie''s Jimin.

In a democratic country everyone should be equal before law, just because bts are very popular and successful that doesn't means they should get special privileges.

There have been many legendary kpop boy groups before like Bigbang, TVXQ, G.O.D, H.O.T ... but none of them tried to run away from their military service like bts and bighit are doing

Why this FALSE INFORMATION THREAD allowed to be posted? Moderator should delete this.

The New Law is only about 1 year postponement from the normal age limit ( from 29 years age to 30) that can be applied to any person that meet a certain requirement.

Obviously military is not mandatory when people are getting preferential treatment, that was my point-- so my argument made perfect sense.

"... national pride (to) Korea" ... National pride for whom!? Not to all the buggers who couldn't give a rat's ass about K-pop and this abstract prestige that it garners. I would be well pissed off if other people are getting exempt because of their social status or them being rich while I have to schlep my ass here and there for registration.

You're not even korean, why you're so entitled to be pissed off??? BTS is a national pride of their own country as mentioned by many high profile government officers. The contribution of BTS in terms of national economy and global cultural recognition has been awarded by Korean government and parliament in the form of Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit in 2018, the highest government award for Korean artists (from KPOP industry only PSY and LSM received this award, and BTS is the youngest awardee in history)

The NEW law is only giving ONE YEAR postponement (from the normal age limit) for people who achieved certain standard which BTS can meet that standard.

One question to you: What BTS did to you? why you hate them???

IMO, the calculation should be based on BH financial statements

    In 2018-2020, total BH revenue: US$ 1.3 B

Let says the average production cost 50% (actually it varies, e.g concert/album usually 50%, merc 70%, ad 0%),

    so BH profit = US$ 654 mill

If the profit split 50:50, BTS got: US$ 327 mill, each member = US$ 46 mill, and after tax (42%) = US$ 28 mill for each member

So estimated earning (after tax) for each member in the period of 2018-2020 = US$ 28 mill + HYPE'stock

The net-worth of the boys depend on how much they made their own investment (e.g buying building/apt etc.)

The net-worth of Bang shihyuk is so high because he invested his earning plus the result of BH IPO

Why is their money-maker BTS making a comeback next month and also releasing solo mixtapes?

I think HYBE didn't properly budget their money. If they need financial guidance they can ring Lee Soo Man.

BTS mixtape is for free you know that don't you?

ofc most Armys always want to pay the boys back by buying their mixtape at commercial platforms

The stats looks good. But what do you think about the song itself? why I've not seen any opinion about the song? is it kind of taboo for army to openly discuss about BTS's new release?

IMO, like their other japanese song FO's lack of their usual amazing transition from vocal to rap part. Maybe because FO and YET is actually heavy melodic ballad, my ears feel disturbed when the rapline part coming in. It's very different from for example spring day, the flow/transition from vocal to rap part is very smooth and sonically complement each other. I wish they just let the vocaline do the job for their japanese ballad, and the rapline works on the song that make they really shine as in many of their older songs.

These are just shares though. For all we know we don’t even know the actual income BTS gets from BigHit annually. I bet it makes the shares look like change :eyebrowsr:

BTS do not get income from Bighit, The boys get it from the Armys who bought millions of their albums, concert tickets, merchss, streaming, downloading etc. , but they have to pay big percentage of their earning to bighit.

And the shares not just the shares, thats correlating to the value of the artists. How come BH values more other artists than BTSwho helped BH growth to this big?? I also think is nor fair to BTS ? what about other BH kpop artists?

Anyways I just thought it was worth mentioning...

I mean no disrespect to bts efforts, it's truly commendable that they actually stand up for something knowing the kind of enormous fanbase they command,it's nice to see them constantly using that power for noteworthy efforts

No you're not just mentioning !!! You've tried very hard shading BTS's voice against racial discrimination.

It shows how low you can stoop

IT SOUNDS SO FUCKING PRETTY OMC :whatk:

    VMINS VOCALS????????

I don't like jimin falseto at the end of his part, too much imo.

Does the report give sales figure for each artist?

I have other guess the reason why Granny treated BTS awfully, it's not only about race but also more about MONEY.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, most BTS's money gained goes to BH in Korea, only small part goes to US music industry. This kind of situation may make the people in granny who mostly coming from US music industry are not happy and reluctant to give proper position (award) to BTS as and artist in their own home market.

Maybe situation will change to the better for the artist coming from US-BH company in future, of course if it produces artists as good as BTS.
