He lived in occupied Palestine? Why?

you mean Israel. He lived there with his family.

Honestly I'm not suprised, just disappointed. Seen a lot of people trying to excuse this by saying it's the stylist fault, but really I.M lived in both the US and Isreal which both have a big muslim population. Also we need to stop acting like he didn't have a say in what to wear. His album is self-made so he probably had a lot of say in the creativity of it all. Starship and I.M both need to make an honest apology. One thing that isn't helping though is I'm already seeing people say that he needs to be kicked out of Monsta X, like no he doesn't. Out right canceling people isn't going to help or solve the ongoing problem of C.A and religious disrespect. Educate him and let him apologize. If you don't like his apology then stop stanning him.

just because he lived in Israel as a child, he should be able to read Arabic? Sorry, but as a non-Muslim without any knowledge about the language I wouldn’t know that these are important religious verses. And yes, of course before taking photos with such a shirt on, you better search the meaning. That was a mistake. But: Why the designer of this shirt thought such holy verses could be good aesthetics is beyond me.

I don’t know what you want me to say? Congrats you’re Gen x and stan a bunch of teens like? The proof is in these groups inability to connect with the Korean public. Obviously not everyone feels that way, but generally that’s seems to be the case for people who don’t stan any of them.

I disagreed with your opinion that’s all. Thanks for the unnecessary ageism in the second sentence, but I stan only groups whose members are in their 20s, that’s hardly teens. I know that bgs in general (beside BTS) don’t do that well in Korea but chart success has never been an indicator for me to think their music is „not it“.

The only reason some of them are doing decent right now is cause they’re younger and Gen z is gravitating towards them, and I can say that cause I’m Gen z too. Some groups like Ateez havent released a good comeback in over a year. The music is NOT it and none of these groups stand out in a way that groups like EXO, Got7, and BTS did. I mean we can see if one group is able to form an identity worth paying attention to, but these days these boy groups are more fanbase oriented than ever. They have nothing on 3rd or 2nd Gen I’m sorry . I’m still paying attention but right now but...nothing interesting is happening

An interesting opinion but I disagree. For me it’s quite the opposite, while beside BTS none of the mentioned boygroups music „clicked“ for me (and I really tried, but their music is absolute not my taste), I love the 4th generation bgs way more (and no I also don’t think Ateez had a bad cb but to each their own). I am generation x btw, so this is also not true for me.

As others already pointed out, there are four possibilities:

    1. If they are dating a celebrity BH and/or the other company is paying enough to keep media away

    2. They are dating a non celebrity

    3. They have a bf (I read that same sex couples won’t be revealed , don’t know if it’s true, but makes sense)

    4. They are single and/or just have some flings here and there

Whatever it is. It’s not our business.

    they bangin

    lol yeah "friendship"

Yeah because a friendship between two people of the opposite gender is not possible.

People who are instantly thinking that there is more between them are the reason we seldom to never see idols of the opposite gender interact. Platonic friendships between female and male idols without shipping them should be normalized.

I agree that not all soldiers in the Wehrmacht were whole-hearted Nazi but it’s also very wrong to portray them as some innocent soldiers only fighting for their country. That should be clear for everyone since the first „Wehrmachtsausstellung“ in 1995. I also agree that there were people who were not only against the ideology but also helped others to survive. They were the true heroes.

As a history teacher I am well aware of other sensitive symbols and topics but unfortunately it’s not possible to teach people all historical crimes. So I understand that Asian people won’t know about every crime of the Nazis before and during the war and that most people also cannot distinguish between the uniforms or even know that the mannequin wears (for whatever reason) a Wehrmacht uniform.

Her company has apologized so for me it’s ok and I can move on but I also understand if it’s not enough for others.

It’s also ok to agree to disagree.

The Wehrmacht fought for Hitler and most of them were Nazi or stood behind the ideology and did some horrible crimes. Yes I know that people were also forced to fight during the war but I thought we left the discussion about the so innocent and not Nazi-like Wehrmacht and the devil SS in 1995 because it’s simple not true. My ancestors were soldiers in the Wehrmacht and Nazi as well.

I am sorry but what? About what army are you talking about? Not the Wehrmacht because they fought for the Nazis. There were people against them yes, but they were a silent minority. Otherwise they would have been killed or sent to a concentration camp.

Another question: why fans like to assume that their faves are straight? Nobody seems to have problems if reporters ask weird questions about the ideal height and/or type of the idols assuming they are straight, but when some people assume they could be gay, than suddenly it’s a huge problem for some people.

How about: why are some fans so interested in what their faves prefer and their private love and sex life?
