again, wrong. At that time most people think it's le serrafim manager, and literally no one knows which grups until Belift deliberately throw illit name. No cpy insane enough to admit rumour to worsen situation. But hybe, wellknown to use fans for everything not only sales, strategically disclose group name to increase hate towards illit. This is intentional, why ? The more hate increase toward illit, casual fans will tend to support the one being attacked. It's classic reverse psychology.
Is illit a victim ? No. They are the priviliges. If MHJ never spoke out, iilit and belift is the one who get benefits by "copying/riding" ador strategy, plan and concept (they did with bts, they will definetely do it with other groups). The members at best is collateral damage, but never truly a victim.

Second. I saw with my own eyes ppl already concluding that it was Illit and their team on day 1 (maybe 2) of the Livestream. Sometimes you gotta nip shit in the bud before it gets overblown and I imagine that's what Belift did when they denied the claims.

Sure she was in survival mode when she threw groups under the bus to use as the real reason Hybe was trying to oust her. But, I still think she could've combatted their arguments a different way.
The initial reasons that Hybe had against MHJ had nothing to do with other groups. She should've just argued against Hybe by proving whatever argument they had was false. Instead she chose to introduce a new reason that involved her shitting on these younger groups. And she didn't have to go that route. She had options. So, I just think she's really the cause of all this.

I think it's crazy that Hanni went on a whole livestream with allegations and no proof knowing that it would bring hate to a group and their team. Like there's MULTIPLE parties saying this ignore thing did not happen and theirs no proof, but Hanni decides to bring it up in a whole livestream. That's insane to me. P.S. This whole "they erased it" narrative is funny af. If this was as big of an issue as it apparently was, why wasn't this resolved before the video got automatically deleted? Yes, she didn't mention any groups specifically by name, but ppl figured out it was Illit the same day iirc. So much so that it wasn't even a question by the time Belift made a statement. So the whole Belift is the one who actually confirmed it is a little disingenuous imo. I believe Hanni knew that Illit and their team would get some kind of steam from this and didn't care as long as they could possibly get MHJ back. And I think that was a little selfish and messy. Kind of dumb of belift but I get why they'd do it but this is clearly not going anywhere and is just a threat for show. They are getting crucified and nothing they try when it comes to media play is working. In kpop the 'denial' is normally promises of lawsuits so the public think there must not be anything to it which is why they are going to court, problem is this has gone far beyond that and more proof is coming up each day so ofc no-one believes them but their shooters, honestly I doubt they will actually make it to court because that'd be a dumb move from belift (but then again when haven't they been dumb). I feel like they are making the case now because MHJ is no longer in charge of Ador, and as the legal owner of newjeans IP, its Adors job to launch any such claims. They are trying to get this settled in court before any case of newjeans leaving Hybe/Ador in hopes the court will side with them and they can media play that to death. Thing is, they are filing for interference with business and defamation, but she was far from the first to make such claims and her trying to settle it in private whilst doing her director duty is all going to help her immensely. Not to mention all the proof docs are coming from whistleblowers, which are legally protected and for interference with business you need to show use of unlawful means, intention to injure and actual damages which is gonna be hard when she has tried to settle it internally, made statements trying to protect the illit members, pointed out what was obvious to literally everyone from the moment illit debuted (to the point that articles from actual journalists were mistaking them) and how do you show lost potentially from a group from an unpopular show who had plagiarism claims since debut. Not like they can say they would have been the next newjeans or izone.
MHJ and team bunnies don't seem to see this lawsuit as attention worthy right now, their main focus is getting newjeans out of Hybe or getting MHJ back in charge, pointing out the plagiarism was just a means to an end and they've already started moves towards their endgame. Even if the case gets a court date quickly, its likely going to be postponed because of all the other MHJ suits as the cases are interconnected. Even then, its unlikely to really get a footing because she made the initial claims as head of Ador, when it was legally her job to do so.
As for the defamation...well there are two branches, defamation publicly of facts and defamation publicly of false facts. So they'd need to first prove they didn't plagiarise or end up proving that not only did they plagiarise and open themselves up to claims based on that, but paid to admit they plagiarised.
I don't understand if this was brought up as a "means to an end" to get out of their contract, then why wouldn't they continue to prove their allegation so that they continue the whole point of bringing this up.
It seems like it was frivolous claim and that it all did was allow documents to leak that still ended up not proving anything MHJ said. There's no reason to avoid court proceedings for plagiarism if she was actually in the right. It would help her position tremendously if she could prove that. She's just a sneaky woman. There's no basis for plagiarism and her avoiding the legal proceedings indicate that.

Dude. I don't do PR. But I'm saying not mad at them for speaking up. All other parties can say something, but Belift is an evil company for jumping in and trying to mitigate? Maybe it wasn't successful but I definitely understand the reason for trying.
Ppl are just on one when it comes to Belift. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. So if rather them at least continue to stand on their business and try to help defend the Illit girls in some way.
He didn't say anything wrong. Hanni was wild during that Livestream for mentioning such a non-issue and making it seem like such a big deal. I could understand illit being confused. Although to me it's pretty obvious that it was only brought up as a last ditch effort to try and get MHJ back as CEO. Hanni was really messy for that.
On a side note, I can't believe MHJ still hasn't taken up any of the plagiarism issues in court. I'm just going off the links in the post. But it seems like she can't prove her allegations.
