I wish NJ and mhj was separated. I would've voted that way. But I just wish NJs would stop bringing up Illit in mistreatment claims without evidence. Fight Hybe all they want, but just leave innocent groups out of it unless there's some real stuff backing it up.
I'm not even sure of what all the claims are with hybe, mhj and Njs, but hopefully NJs can come out of it the way they want. I can care either way about Hybe and Mhj

If HYBE didn't try to kill her reputation and career in public, using dirty media play, MHJ likely wouldn't have even held that press conference.
All of your gripes can be traced back to HYBE, who had less evidence of breach of trust than MHJ has for her plagiarism accusations against Belift.
You need to direct your gripes at the party primarily guilty of dragging all these groups in.
MHJ never would've had to publicly defend herself if HYBE didn't attack her in a very public manner, and NewJeans was ALREADY taking damage before she said a word. HYBE was giving the thumbs up on articles calling them the next 50/50, and even put out an article that framed an interaction between Haerin and Hyein as Hyein calling ILLIT copycats.
Stop blaming everything on MHJ, when the only reason we even KNOW about ANY of this is because of HYBE's arrogance only matched by their incompetence
My question is, what did Hybe initially accuse MHJ of to try and damage her reputation?
And if the real reason for this was due the plagiarism claims as you're saying that MHJ claimed, then why couldn't MHJ just easily refute Hybes argument against her without bringing up the other groups if the claims weren't true?
And I initially only blamed MHJ for the Illit hate, but after the Livestream and NJs mom comments, I'm giving a nice little amount of blame to them now also. I don't hate NJ in any way, but now I look at them differently. Before I saw just sweet innocent girls 24/7. But now I see that with that, they can also be pretty calculating.
Hanni making a big deal about this alleged non-greeting from Illit or their manager telling them to ignore her (I can't keep the story straight bc NJs side keeps changing the story), with absolutely no proof is not a good look also. I understand maybe doing an internal complaint for something like this, but to do a whole live and mention it even though an investigation was already done and no proof was found is a little mean spirited, and I never saw Hanni/NJ that way. This could've been resolved internally.
I know it was probably done with a higher motive of filing mistreatment claims (??) and getting out of Hybe or to get MHJ back as CEO, but she didn't have to it that way. And no hate to Hanni. I'm just disappointed she and NJs did that.
And seriously asking, but did MHJ, NJs or their parents produce any legitimate evidence of what they have been claiming so far??? It seems like their whole side is just allegation after allegation and no proof of anything yet.
To be fair, maybe Hybe hasn't produced any proof either lol. I'm not following them. But I'm honestly wondering about MHJ and NJs side bc their side is the one affecting the groups I like.

She did not go public. HYBE did. And they didn't just stop at publicly announcing an audit and accusing her of breach of trust; they ALSO ran a huge smear campaign by abusing their power over the media to run a bunch of negative, reputation killing inflammatory articles about MHJ and even NewJeans.
ALL of this is because HYBE has worse corporate governance than a lemonade stand, and they thought the public was as stupid and incompetent as they are.
The only reason LSF was ever mentioned is because HYBE lapdog reporters released articles accusing MHJ of being the reason GFriend disbanded and stealing Source trainees
The only reason BTS was mentioned is because HYBE sanctioned some ridiculous articles about MHJ claiming credit for their success and saying they copied her formula, both things that were completely untrue
The only reason ILLIT was mentioned is because MHJ had no choice but to explain WHY HYBE is trying to kill her and what she believes is the real reason they're trying to push her out. Her issues with ILLIT were submitted internally, and they never would've seen the light of day if HYBE didn't try to publicly bury her.
MHJ is not a saint and is clearly, at best, an extreme narcissist, but she also has a right to defend herself, especially when her opponent is a giant corporation trying to bully her into submission while causing potentially irreparable harm to her reputation.
Anyone who complains about groups being involved in this need to blame one party and one party only:
HYBE
They completely underestimated MHJ, and then they underestimated NewJeans, and now both are going to come out of this as the ultimate winners.
I still think MHJ played a dirty game by dragging Illit into it without any legit evidence of plagiarism. She's old enough and been in the game long enough to know what type of reaction her statements would bring to these young groups. did it out of insecurity and it's sad to see so many groups affected bc of this one woman and her insecurities. Even if there is similarities with a group you're in, you just have to get better or get over it. When you're impactful/successful/and making money, there's gonna be slight imitations. But plagiarism is a high burden to meet, and I don't see how Illit met it. But I definitely reserve my right to change my opinion if she produces some real evidence. Right now she's just alleging things with no proof and affecting groups bc of it.
But not only it affecting LSF and Illit, I honestly think it's affecting NJ as well. Last year you couldn't find a soul to say they didn't like NJ. And now this whole thing have ppl actively choosing to not listen to NJ bc of what they think of them now. Like, imagine if this whole thing didn't happen and How Sweet/Bubble Gum came out. I don't know if it would've did as good as prior era's, but it definitely would've did better than it did. Illit would've smashed even more and Lucky Girl would still be charting hight. LSF I think would've did better also. I feel like this whole drama is doing more worst than good, for all parties involved. Except Aespa. Aespa rode that shit and I applaud it

Alright. Well, I feel like MHJ started complaining about Illit before summer started. And If she didn't have evidence back then, it's not a good look to already go public making complaints of plagiarism about Illit and their company.
And if the evidence was recently obtained, I honestly don't feel like she will ever file a lawsuit for plagiarism against Illit bc the claim holds no weight. She could prove me wrong, but seeing already how she's been moving, I doubt it.

Well I think in one of the articles HYBE said at the injunction MHJ did approach a lawyer about a plagiarism lawsuit before the audit kicked off and the lawyer advised against it. 🫠

I been having some feelings as a Illit fan. But MHJ is a mess and should know better at her age. Seems like a greedy, jealous, insecure women. I say it respectfully.
The NJ parents should know better also. Each of their statements seem a little unhinged and you could tell it wasn't proofread by anyone else.
And New Jeans are starting to come off real entitled. I still haven't seen ANY legit claims of mistreatment from them. Just seems like they keep indicating Illit without any proof. They're starting to come off as bullies now with how much they keep stoking this situation and Illit not doing anything but trying to continue work.
And it honestly just seems like the main complaint about Illit stems from jealousy. I already knew when this started and it was before NJ's comeback, that MHJ/NJ team was doing this bc they knew NJ's up coming songs weren't going to hit like they used to, and we're already mad that Illit was about to/were already smashing. And then NJ's songs came out and didn't make as much noise as before and I knew I was right. All MHJ had to do was make NJ better if she felt others were copying. Show everyone else that nothing is better than the original. But she took the insecure route.
And I even feel bad for NJ. I considered myself a pretty big fan before. But this left such a sour taste in my mouth for them. Like I lost respect for Hanni after that live chat and claim. What was the purpose of bringing that up of not to generate even more hate for the group she was referencing. Last year they were on top of the world. Now they're losing fans bc of their, MHJ and their parents attitudes. Other GG's are doing better than them this year on all platforms it seems.
