It sounds so good
Rosè is finally coming to bless us all
It sounds so good
Rosè is finally coming to bless us all
Eh the usual YG hater is here trying to be a debbie downer.
Anyway as I believe the girls do have a say in how they are involved in their art I do believe this is Rosé's choice and only success fans are truly obsessed about who is in competition with her etc. Enjoy and respect the fact that she wanted to share her music first and foremost in the most intimate and exclusive way she knew how. This concert is for Blinks, no sane non fans and antis will be willing to spend almost 40$ to watch something they hate. She wanted to perform it first for us, respect and be grateful of that instead of going on a tirade over the big bad YG.
BP get many hate tweets with some with more than 40k likes on because their song played for like 5 secs after some acts. Apparently it's their fault and it's a sin to play their song
I also just found out today that Jennie received degrading comments and hate with a tweet receiving 12k likes for putting a space before a question mark on an IG post she made in Dec 2019. Hated because of a freakin ?.
The tiny nitpicking bs hate these girls had to go through is astounding
2009 was the boom of Hallyu Wave outside of Korea. It was also the rise of internet access with many internet cafe around
Sorry Sorry was a massive hit in South East Asia, Gee was also massive. 2008 songs such as Nobody finding popularity again in 2009.
I remember that time people were selling notebooks for school with SJ and SNSD member faces on the cover
In international Kpop community they were huge. As someone who did not know Kpop existed before 2008, and YT was only starting to get popular, all Kpop fan contents I found were somehow DBSK related. I don't think any Kpop group has as much fanatic fans during 2008 as DBSK. I remember searching for Kpop songs and looking at compilations of idol groups it was always DBSK at the top.
The split definitely impacted their fandom a lot, and it definitely stopped their momentum. As it occured during the beginning of the rise of Kpop outside of Korea/Japan. Hence why in 2009, when groups like SJ and SNSD found success as well, they kinda took over that baton of hallyu wave (in SEA especially) and people know them more instead of DBSK.
As for Korea, not too sure as I am not Korean. But if we judged by their songs performance, I believe they have massive fandom support but lacking in public pull as their songs rarely chart high.
Lovesick Girls is their best MV, all the imagery is amazing. It's still breathtaking without being too glamourous with intricate set design. I really like the emotions portrayed in the MV as well, their best acting in an MV.
Pretty Savage is overrated. HYLT already served Pretty Savage purpose so if they released that again it's too one dimensional. Glad they chose LSG as it is their best song imo.
I really like DDDD remix, it's actually my 2nd fave song of the KTL album behind DKWTD and perhaps just in front of Kick It. Which I guess illustrate of how lackluster that album really is imo.
To me Suzy is perhaps the most unargued face of the group
Out of the list, it would be Hwasa and Soyeon I guess
It's just that those are miles ahead in terms of popularity compared to their bandmates. While other groups arguably has other members which are just as popular as them, ie: Yoona and Taeyeon, Sulli and Krystal, Irene and Joy, for BP all 4 are the face really especially nowadays
What makes me interested was the music but what keeps me being interested or a stan are the personalities/my bias.
I honestly gave a listen to many groups but in the end never really stay interested in them for long if they can't make me smile or keep me being interested. I fell in love with my two ult bias groups because of their variety shows.
True, I don't understand the language so Kpop lyric rarely 'speaks' to me as I need to look up the translation to make it connect with the voice/emotion so most of the times it's just a lost connection.
One of the Kpop song that I can feel the connection of the lyric with the singing is Nell's Time Walking on Memories, and I remember I had to watch the lyric video dozens of time to establish that connection. So it's quite hard.
So yep never get the fuss over some people obsession to belittle other groups over their 'writing ability'.
Lol did not know that song had that many remixes
Good on them
you're just doing the same thing again suggesting there's something wrong with people for seeing the song as sexual innuendo...such a classic deflection. I mean the lyrics are nonsensical and dumb enough that kids definitely won't get it but it's still obvious innuendo. whatever, if you don't wanna see it, then don't i guess...the "misogynistic haters" aren't gonna change your mind. bye.
True misogynistic haters will never change my mind. Toodles
and here's the you're just misogynistic argument instead.
yall are really pros and deflecting any serious criticism with these bs generalisations.
Boohoo, you're being generalised poor you
Like Idk perhaps take into consideration that the majority of people aren't sexually frustrated to always relate 'take a lick' to 'slurp like slurpee' to something sexual. Even the other day John Legend was singing the song with his daughter, and plenty of kids are actually listening to the song. Perhaps that's what they want to take the approach on, a happy song. But here comes the bs haters twisting it around saying these women singing sexual songs shouldn't be bouncing on castles and be cheerful while singing a song about ice cream but should just be ice cream truck drivers instead.
no you said you don't want them near a pink concept again as though that's the reason the MV got criticised. AIIYL and LSG were both well-received! nobody had an issue! people had no problems with sexy concepts elsewhere either. What's not clicking about the fact that some people just find that particular concept problematc? they can do all the pink concepts they want and rock them, just don't do a sexy children's birthday party MV and they're fine.
you guys have been attacking every criticism of the MV as slutshaming the girls when that's not true.
So a bunch of women singing mildly sexual lyric (not even full blown out sexual mind you, as it's just innuendos) in a bouncing castle is suddenly problematic now. Lol bunch of bs reasonings to bring women down
So instead of actually putting the blame on the haters and their ridiculous warped mindset that think a group singing in happy cheerful setting with mildly sexual lyrics is suddenly degrading, we need to limit the girls ability to explore whatever genre style they like?
Gtfo with that. Immature haters was always daft and ridiculous, pink concept doesn't suddenly make them like that. It's practicially ingrained
