Goosey, I think if you went to your most extreme, you would still be pure and innocent, and all of AKP loves you for it. Any guy worth your time will love you for it, too.

Oh man this hits the nostalgia feels in all the right ways. I never heard this before but it reminds me of 2000 era boy bands when everything had sort of an epic feel.
The main vocalist is so good. Possibly one of my favorite overall bg voices. I love how the song starts with him singing the best part. No forcing me to wait 60 seconds for the good stuff. The video is a whole vibe. I really like how they did the lighting. It really feels like they're surrounded by towering infernos. The firefighters are the cherry on top.
I listened to a few of their other songs but none of them top this one. Hole In Your Face is kind of intense.

That kind of stuff is malicious ignorance. They just refuse to learn and make tons of excuses why it's "too hard" and repeat that they just don't know how so that they can push it onto their partner to do. Or they'll purposely do things wrong multiple times until their partner caves in and gives up. Sigh.
Like changing a tire or mowing the lawn

Trump is a racist misogynist, and I also question the intentions of any followers of his who are this quick to tokenize everyone he works with based on their ethnicity or gender.
Kinda like the first black, Asian-American, female Vice President

It's crazy how fast kpop generations go. It still feels like the start of gen 4. This is where Hidden Gems really helps me because I don't notice groups until they've been around for a few years.
The video is really nice and the aesthetics do feel like they're following a recent trend of more casual-style clothing and videos that feel more like vlogs than an extravagant display. Idk if that's the type of aesthetic you meant. For a song that has more of a chill vibe the video is very visually stimulating. Lots of scene changes and things popping up, and lots of colors especially at the end.
I wanted to avoid mentioning New Jeans but I don't know how to describe this style of song without doing it. This is one of the best songs I've heard of that style. I also like Pinball which I feel fits the same sort of vibe. My favorite song so far though is UhHuh. Looking forward to more.

OMG I love Mirror. You're Pitiful and Mirror always felt like sibling songs to me because they're different from other Fiestar songs in kind of the same way. You like You're Pitiful a bit more and I like Mirror a bit more
Either way, Fiestar is one of the most underrated groups in kpop history.

It's such a shame when videos are removed. At least we can still kind of see this one, assuming this is what the original looked like without the lyrics. I love it when a band-style group pops up, especially a nugu one. It really is a nice mellow song for this style which is nice to see.
The setting really helps sell the overall vibe. Such a peaceful looking field with a few friends joyfully playing with balloons with no worries. It's great for a few minutes of forgetting. Their voices are also really good. I feel like this song would be hard to sing, especially since there's nowhere to hide with autotune or loud instrumentals. They did a great job.
I didn't find many of their songs but I did find Rule Breaker which is slightly my favorite, mostly because of the higher energy, but both are very good.
Hope you're doing well Hopkinz

There are normal people in this thread and there are unwell people in this thread. Spot the difference.

As someone who gravitates to generic stuff, some experimental sounding stuff can turn me off but this song just hits in all the right ways. This is one of those groups that always kind of interested me but never really checked out.
I agree that this song is way better than MemeM. One of my favorite recent gg songs on the series for sure. I also still really like My My. I've been trying to think of some kpop Christmas songs so I'm happy I was reminded of that one.

I know that you know I'm a huge fan of Youha so It's no surprise that I like this song. I actually didn't know that she wrote songs for other artists/groups. This is one of the catchiest songs I've heard in a while.
The video is really pretty, especially the Alice in Wonderland looking parts. Pop is a good song but I prefer this one.

Everything about this song has a very epic feel. Their main singer shows a lot of versatility throughout this song. I like how he's a little raspy but not too much. But then also has a soft voice that's so much different.
I can't think of a lot of bg band type songs but I'd have to say this is one of my favorites.

What TWICE era did you discover them? What are your favorites?
TWICE has long been and still is..... My ult and very near and dear to my heart. I will forever be a Tzuyu stan and love the members and memories as an OG stan.
But I have really completely disengaged from them musically. The back end of their career arc has largely embraced everything I hate about Western pop/rap influence, aesthetic, and value.
A collab with Megan the Stallion..... Quite possibly everything I never wanted from TWICE.
Alas..... I'm just an old fan yelling at clouds....
I'll go back to listening to my favorites like Like A Fool and others I still hold dear and live in TWICE's past.... As I always do.
The first time I really noticed them was during Likey era. I admired how they took a sort of stereotype and made it into something fun.
I was really into 2nd gen sexy stuff around then so I didn't stan them at that time. I really started stanning during TTT era.
Eventually I started to love their early cute songs and now I consider Heart Shaker my favorite. Cry For Me is my favorite of the more grown-up version of TWICE. I'm also a HUGE fan of Scientist. I know Onces are divided on that song but I love it.
I will admit I do like their newer stuff like Set Me Free and One Spark, and I like I Got You a lot. I do think there is something missing in most of them though. Identity by MiSaMo is the only TT I dislike.
This Megan Thee Stallion collab might be the second. I literally cannot think of a way to be more disappointed with a comeback announcement.
Oh and Momo is my bias, with Nayeon, Sana, and Dahyun all being my wreckers. Tzuyu has recently been making her way into my heart though. Not just because of her solo but I find I'm noticing her more in older stuff too.
