At the end IVE did passed aespa sales in Gaon!!!!!!

  • Why people are saying IVE didn't passed aespa sales on gaon? Don't lie!

    savage - 519,618

    love dive - 544,339

both comeback on the same day in the month too

savage comeback on Oct 5, 2021

love dive comeback on April 5, 2021

So the report of the 1st month is 100% fair

Currently savage is 602k but that's just now and it's clear IVE will pass the 600k mark next month :*

  • Who said this? Also, idk how comparable Love Dive is with Savage. Wasn't their debut album Eleven (even though it only contained like 2 songs and instrumental versions)? How much did Ive sell with Eleven in the same amount of months?

Even then, both groups can't be really compared because IVE's first album had barely any songs, while aespa's album had 6 or 7 songs and they released it after like a year. And Love Dive is IVE's second album, while aespa has no second album and SM often doesn't reprint albums and every comeback the popular groups sell more than before.

Idk, why people are so focused on the sales of them and compare them, when both are obviously doing very well and are both definitely in the top 3 for the 4th generation and will probably continue to each beat the others one's record

  • IVE 1st physical release = Eleven

2nd physical release = Love dive

Aespa 1st physical release = Savage

    2nd physical release = None

i don't know why people are trying to play the it's a single vs a mini album release because to be honest it's not a criteria who change a lot of things, people buy album for the photocard not the songs in the album so even if it was a mini album or an album single it would change nothing in the sales.

Because fans buy to support their fans they don't care about if it's a mini album, or a single album

let's see how aespa will do with their 2nd physical release to compare it with how Love dive did

  • Oh here we go again with the "highest selling 4th generation album that cost x amount with y songs and z members t days after their debut"

  • Can Aespa comeback fast so that these dives can finally shut up. it's getting tiring at this point.

  • People really

It was always funny to see Mys trying to convince people that Savage should be comparable to "debut" album.

If like you said, people buy album because of photocard then whether savage is their first album is not important. The only important is how long have they have debuted. Aespa debut with black memba and they have a big hit song Next Level before Savage so they have garnered many fan before they release the first album and MYs here really trying to tell people that people should compare it to Eleven?

and let not even start the izone's privileges shit.

Savage 100% deserved to compare to Love Dive and not Eleven.

and whoever have that number is correct. If you ever have 1 minute to go to Gaon chart and look at it then you may not even need to write this paragraph.

  • Okay, let's not pretend that Aespa didn't release 2 singles (one of which was a mega hit ) before releasing savage. They had months to build a fandom as well. When people pointed that out you guys blocked your ears and now you are talking as if they were the ones at a disadvantage? With the way Black mamba performed on the charts, it's obvious even if they had done a physical release at the time the numbers wouldn't have been that different from IVE's physical release with Eleven. Meanwhile, IVE didn't even release a mini album. They relased singles with literally 2 songs on it and only had 5 months to build their fandom.

And before you say "produce privilege" might I remind you Eleven's first day sales was only 55k? Many produce groups with members more popular than Wonyoung and Yujin were still flopped. They had to build their fandom like most every other rookie. Meanwhile, Aespa is from SM and has built in company stans.

  • Sales are increasing by the year, so let's wait and see how Aespa's sales will be with their next comeback.

For now both groups are doing well, so let's congratulate both groups instead of constantly putting successful women against eachother as if it's some cage fight with kpop fans acting like bloodthirsty audience.

This argument is just plain silly.

Are we forgetting that IVE has members that were already popular and wellknown when they were in IZ*One, the group that had some of the highest album sales even beating SM groups like Red Velvet and equaling TWICE sales, and that Wonyoung was the most popular member of the group and already an established top popular 4th gen idol for years?

Both groups have had some advantages that have contributed in some ways to both groups' sales.

Let's not suddenly become onesidedly blind and selective to the obvious advantages that each group has had each in their own way.

  • Dives are setting themselves up. Aespa will eat up these sales without even the need of cheap versions.

  • I think Aespa will get 1M for their next album. :ahh-bee:

  • Aespa is still ahead in sales overall, their next album will sell like hot cakes

ut mys should really get off their high horse cause I’ve is outdoing aespa internationally by a lot, this is very familiar with once and blink pre 2020…. And we all know how it ended up

in sales overall it would be IVE winning though with 900k+ between both singles lol in the only thing aespa is winning now is in Gaon. IVE will also pass the 600k mark in the next month update so it will be very close

My thoughts exactly, aespa is guaranteed to sell well but their situation with IVE resembles too much Twice vs BP. aespa's comeback is close and if IVE's summer comeback is true then it will be even more intense.

  • Nmixx will sell the same as ive after flopping . Leserafim will outsell them also. Worry about nmixx and leserafim instead of trying to compete with aespa.

lmao, doesn't this sound familiar? Were you one of the ones also predicting that IVE would flop during debut? Are we in the process of creating new memories that I can also go back and laugh at later? Good times, good times. Anyway, Aespa better hit that 1 Million sales next comeback.

These groups are flops on charts so there's nothing to worry. Ive leads internationally with a gap and is also consistent and stable on kcharts. Eleven still charting on top 20 and Love Dive on top3. Makes no sense you mention these two when its Ive that already surpassed aespa in one category.

yup plenty of strong girl groups with verified album selling power this year. it's good at ive we're able to hit big with love dive, it'll be embarrassing if aespa's comeback doesn't have similar digital results since many girl groups now can sell albums.
