Since we're on the topic let me just say I actually like the fact that people can freely fight stan twitter style on anon threads. It prevents users from creating personal vendettas against each other and generalizing fandoms, plus you won't have 20 threads with 2 or 3 uses just making essays about beef that can turn ugly and become bullying accusations.

I think it's because they don't want to show how bitter and envious they are. And how much time they spend on hating... Rather than spending time to do what uplifts them, makes them grow or makes them happy. The fact they have to do it in anon is an indicator that they know how pitiful they sound.
