Red Velvet got hate at their debut because people felt the were debuting to lessen the scandal going on with Sulli and the sudden halt of promotions for f(x) in the middle of what was arguably their best era.

Yg barely sent 2ne1 to variety shows among other things in order to push a certain "exclusive" image on them. YG has done the same with BB and BP. They probably had fewer opportunities to publicly interact with other gg's. 2ne1 members such as Minzy have literally talked in the past about how idol peers behaved weird around them and they used to have a hard time making friends due to being seen as "scary" just bc of their public image. *2ne1* were the ones being treated differently. And they were kinda shy so do you expect people to just act like social butterflies to anyone they don't know well? You sound like the people who say "she's such a b*tch" when the person is literally just shy. 2ne1 members have gotten more interactions with other idols and celebrities over the years.

YG ended their career, not the BP girls, so being shady at their grown age has always come off as weird to me. Honestly it is just strange that BP have better relationships with members of SNSD and Wonder Girls than they do with 2NE1. Im not an SM stan, but the relationships between groups in that company has always seemed nice to me, particularly SNSD with their juniors. Also Aespa debuted with more privilege than RV have had in their whole career but RV has no problem being nice to them
