RE: anytime you mention a kpop idol's n-word scandal

  • Sorry I'm a bit out of it rn, I don't understand

Can you dumb it down :pepeflushed: lol

i feel you. i’m out of it as well and idk ops whole post just feels off to me. i don’t know why. op says this and i’m just like. it’s not really their apology to accept seeing that they aren’t black but idk.

most of the time when an idol saying the n word is brought up is during fanwars tbh

  • wow what an essay

now i have no issue with a black (lemme say again black) kpop stan not liking an idol for saying the n word. but when you as a non black person brings up such a thing then yeah i can see why someone who is black might get mad.

cause why are you even bringing it up in the first place when you are not the affected (effected? idk my mind is messed up) person?

to be perfectly honest, if you were to bring up not liking an idol for this said reason i would probably ignore you. idc what you as a non black person has to say about that type of situation cause it’s not yours to speak on or even bring up. and you linking this to racism also throws me off. some (some) of the times when an idol says the n word it is (sometimes) out of ignorance and that idol apologizes, some accept and others don’t. perfectly fine. this doesn’t make them racist (in my eyes anyways).

also black kpop stans can bring up the fact an idol has apologized to changed for such a thing. why not? and i kind of doubt anyone is saying you need help. and op says ppl need to stop taking things personal and meanwhile this is something that is personal?

of course no black kpop stan has to accept the apology but same time don’t attack those who do accept the apology.

  • because they find it wrong? If someone made a racist comment about koreans many kpop stans would get upset at the person even if they themselves are not korean its the same thing. Not limited to race being upset over misogynistic even if your not a women or fat shaming even if your not fat. They find people who say the n word offensive so they choose not to stan them is fine to me.

  • I really tried to understand your point of view but it doesn't make sense to me that you think it's wrong when a white person supports a racist idol and when they don't, you also think it's wrong

IDK, perhaps i misunderstood your post but that's how i read it

IMO if you're a man you can still speak for woman's rights, same applies for cases of religious or racial discrimination

    you misunderstood.

  • I kind of get/relate to what you are saying. As an Indian, I have seen my fair share of Indian CA scandals(they are in no way comparable to saying the nword though). Most of the Indian CA scandals are some of the most pathetic scandals in the world(no, wearing Indian jewelry doesn't make you a racist).

And I have seen so many non-Indians accept or decline an apology or get mad at an idol on a topic they don't even know.

I have literally seen kpop stans cancel an idol because they wore Indian jewelry when they are not even Indian and/or aren't educated on whether that piece of jewelry has any cultural meaning.

It honestly annoys me a lot.

  • yeah you missing what i’m saying, but it’s cool
