is sm really trying to pull a yg?

barely any content from aespa, seems like sm bought blueprints from yg for their dungeon and built one for aespa

i dont even know why sm would follow it because yg's plan is stupid to begin with (they could have made so much more profit with regular comebacks) and i dont really know if aespa can survive it. blackpink has lost so many fans because of their inconsistency and I would say theyre the only gg that could really pull off such long hiatuses and doing nothing in between. the fight for top gg is still ongoing and sm seems dumb for not pushing aespa for the top spot but letting take the backseat while the other groups continue to grow. aespa doesn't really have international popularity and are relying on korea except half of them are foreign members and we all know how korea is with that. somehow, they beat the odds with next level but they need to continue keeping the public's interest. aespa's concept isnt like blackpink's; it requires a lot of fan knowledge to know abt their lore and if they don't keep interest, then people are going to stop caring. their comeback better be soon and a bop or this might all go downhill fast 📉

im talking more about no content. blackpink was able to survive it but im not so sure with aespa

if they did they would be stupid because blackpink doesn't just rely on cmb they rely on fashion and indorstments too so they can keep the intrests of the fans and the public

And also bp songs are easily digestible unlike aespa. not like their songs aren't good they are imo but they can easily be hated or loved and no in between.

And also aespa are not not doing anything, they had this smtown thingy, Step back, DCT, OSTs are coming so theyre putting out content

The SM dungeon is notorious. No group is safe from it, their new groups are no exception lol.

ok but its risky to follow it right now. blackpink didn't have this much competiton when they debuted. ive is already making bigger noise internationally, nmixx has showed what they can do with a trash song so imagine if jyp gives them good songs plus they're music is similar to aespa but they sing live all the time and have way better stage presence and dancing, kepler was already doing well but after queendom, they're going to be a big challenge too, not to mention all the hype the hybe group is getting.

the thing that set blackpink apart was the music, fashion, and their stage presence. aespa has really good music but, i dont really see aespa doing anything fashion-wise and despite having two it-girls i dont acctually see them having any influence on anybody, and aespa has no stage presence.

so the thing that would be saving aespa is their music EXCEPT you already have a lot of groups coming out with similar music (nmixx, kepler) so that's why I'm saying that sm needs to take advantage of their popularity right now before they get forgotten in this mess and become the next itzy.

their talent too but every kpop group is talented. you can't just expect popularity because you're talented or else a lot of good groups wouldn't have disbanded and the popularity of kpop groups would be way different than it is now

I don't think they will be forgotten looking at their views and continous interest with 0 content currently. They will always be in the conversation

Yes i know that why I was saying that with currently 0 content they still the talk of the town. So could you imagine them with more content? Itzy have much more content than aespa so it's not comparable situation at all.

Also, I don't agree with SM way of thinking about but what can I do. Like i explained my reason above. It's a mystery to me but well SM know is still working. This is just like YG restricted BP but they know BP will always sells things.

What promo are you talking about? DCT only performed 2 times. GOT 1 time + 1 in concert pls compare to how big superM promo was . Giselle perfomed in concert only. Not really the promo that you're looking for. They are in the dungeon mostly and come out only for doing cfs currently.

Unlike BP, they also interact with fans on bubble frequently. The way they are comparing aespa situations with BP is hilarious, imagine releasing MV after, doing projects and attending award shows, music shows... We wish us getting so much content like u guys.

Fans mainly complaining of aespa lack of content. Not music duh. Compare to their peers (4th gen groups) even RV (that you guys like to said getting mistreated) getting music show behind the scene , recording behind, and birthday vlogs etc unlike aespa. So that why Mys likened aespa to BP of getting unfair treatment / lack of content.
