Social content is so true. This is one of the reasons why BTS has loyal and global fandom - the task force commissioned by other labels reported back in ~2018.
BTS did it out of necessity (no tv wanted them), but now kpop groups doing it for global exposure. So Kpop stans nowadays should thank BTS for paving the way for social contents

They already had a twitter account in 2014 called @PathcodeEXO
Since The War was releasing in July 2017... They created to promote their album using twitter's newest feature at the time (I forgot what it's called..where you click on an option and the whole tweet is written automatically..) Also, the twitter account is purely there for news/updates/comebacks.. Not personal...
