Probably not. No teddy = no black pink or at least not the current group. They've be very different. Same with 2ne1. Teddy made those groups.

the blackpink branding has its own momentum and now YG has given BP other producers so the Teddy sound is on track to be waning out.

Yes but these 2 groups are/were heavily dependent on Teddy with most of their biggest songs coming from him. He basically gave them their sound so without him they're likely going to be a very different group musically than one we currently know.

there's many many west producers who are crazy for work with them, their fanbase is extremely loyal and powerful it doesn't matter who produce to them. They have the contacts (all of them made their names out of kpop) and whoever works with them will be successful

They are so big now they can work with almost anyone and it will be successful. Not sure if they would be where they are today without Teddy tho..

They might not be as successful now with their debut songs he produce so he gave them a lot of visibility but ,loving forward there are many good producers who are not YG in the world in Korea and west and BP can probably have their pick.

I keep telling you my point is about how much input and direction he had on the group from the beginning, not about current day BP.

The car I have is because of a certain person who helped me in a certain day and I got a certain price on it. Change it so I never met this person then all likelihood I'd still be driving my bannged up car from years ago let alone get a new car.

Right now if they dropped teddy they'd be fine. In the past if they dropped teddy they'd be screwed . Without teddy, we wouldn't have D4 would we?
