I think that's the normal way. Imagine having to learn multiple names before listening to a group.
I barely know the members of the bands I listen to.

I do with this lots of groups. Sometimes if I really find myself liking a certain voice I will try to track down a name of that person.

Yeah I watch mushows sometimes so I always catch performances of groups I don't really follow.
Don't really follow Rocket Punch or Cherry Bullet super closely, but I've enjoyed their comeback stages this time around :)

I learnt their names as I was interested but I don't watch performances for anyone if not for my faves

Knowing a group takes time, I agree and many of us don't have it
But if I see a group of 8-9 members I just give up lol I have a hard time to learn the names of groups with many members

Right? There are songs on my playlist that i listen to all the time and i wouldn't even be able to tell you the name of the song or the artist without looking it up.
On the flipside, I do know and adore my fave groups, so I can identify them by name, but I still pbly have not seen every single one of their videos. Like I love Electric Kiss and watch the dance practice regularly, but have never seen the mv.

I binged Lovesong without knowing three of the TXT members. I have no clue who is in Cherry Bullet and i know only the IOI members of Weki Meki but i binge several of their songs. Then there is the sleeper hit of 2021, Show Me Your Pride by Lionesses, a rando group whose names i will probably never learn.
