DONGKIZ renamed to DKZ + member changes

So, this is a nugu group DONGKIZ which is now DKZ

Just to give you guys a little bit of insight of DKZ, Jaechan very recent got popular because of his role in a BL Semantic Error. Initially the company was against him doing this because well, Boy Love is kinda controversial. But they supported him and miraculously the Korean GP suddenly got interested in him and started checking out DKZ.

I mean if we knew that boy to boy kiss was the secret to giving your nugu group some visibility we should have done this long ago

Lupin (2020) also got a lot of views recently, it was around slightly above 200k few days ago but their views skyrocketed in the past few days, in the comments you can see a lot of new people checking them out

They are actually about to comeback but members had injury issues and had to reschedule.

And I know y'all don't want to see it, but I also bring sad news

Wondae is leaving the group due to injury (apparently it's really quite serious), Munik is still on hiatus due to health reasons. And also, they are bringing in 3 new members.

I'm not sure how long this sudden popularity might last, or how they will do in future, but please do support them regardless.

I've been supporting them since 2020, and was obsessed with Lupin

The choreography is really unique because they used canes that can lengthen and shorten in their dance routine

Lupin is a bit darker, but they have a lot of cheerful songs as well

Blockbuster is one of my favourites. It samples the Ghostbusters theme song

They even have a cute ghost mascot

And I also absolutely love this song they released last year

They are renaming/rebranding to DKZ

This is so stupid. They should’ve continued as a trio until Munik comes back (if he ever does come back). Jaechan is the only member people care about anyway, so they should have tried to familiarise all the new fans with the already existing members instead of slapping 3 more into the group.

Why every time a group from a nugu company gains any sort of traction the company pulls some nonesensical shit lol. Also I hope their music doesn’t change too much. Dongkiz has a very specific vibe which is refreshing compared to what everyone else does. I hope they don’t lose that.

I think maybe the new members were already in the works, just that Jaechan's sudden popularity was very unexpected.
