i was expecting sistar and twice, 2ne1 is a surprise.

A shame Gaon only started in 2010, because in that case SNSD would've topped them all with the most #1 songs.

But if we're including sub-units and individual members, then it becomes a different story, yay to Taetiseo and Taeyeon adding an additional five #1 songs to the totals

Also a shame that the sexy got started and popularised but also ended with Sistar we haven't really seen a real return of it after them

I think it's because Sistar and Twice had 9 *consecutive* #1 singles, whereas 2NE1's #1s were a lot more spread out.

2ne1 is a lot more spread out because they released multiple title tracks from one release/album. Had they been focusing on ONE only per time, they will have a better looking streak.
