they still have to sing live in the studio, there is only too much technology can do to mask a lack of skill. do you want us all to drawn in autotune forever?
there is no correlation between vocal skills and lipsynching. The latter has become the norm in kpop shows and it is time you all get used to it and stop acting scandalised every time it happens. this is like being surprised the sun came out from the east today.
Singing in a studio is much easier than live though. Producers can use tricks like auto tune to make anyone sound decent and add effects to smooth things out. It's basically CGI but for singing.
You really think groups like Twice, Itzy, black pink etc are in the same level as groups in the 2nd gen that mostly sang live? No, they're clearly weaker. Twice exposed themselves with their encores where they can't sing live if their life depended on it but magically during performance they sound stable even while dancing. Like I said why sing live if groups can get away lip syncing because they can't sing live.

there are other groups aside from the ones you mentioned that have talented vocalists and the difference actually shows even in the studio recording. you can't seriously tell me you don't hear the difference in vocal talent between say Red Velvet or Aespa or Mamamoo and Twice on the other side when listening to their recorded songs. Like i said, technology can only do too much to mask the lack of skills. And you might want to watch NCT's recording diaries if you think singing in the studio is easy.

kpop groups have been lip synching since 1st gen. I will never under why Kpop stans so annoying about this.
Do you people realize music shows are often shot in the early mornings some idols don't get sleep or eat and are exhausted. They film multiple takes and stages it will be literally taxing on the vocal chords to sing the same song 6 times 1 day for how ever many days you have to promote. Literally no vocal professional gives a hoot because we know they're preserving their vocal chords. That's why so many 2nd gen idols have regressed and ruined their voices constantly shouting strained notes up to literally dozens a time in a week.
Look at Itzy and Stayc, 2 groups Kpop fans praise for live singing but Lia vocals have regressed tremendously I could not stand to listen to her or Yeji by Loco era because their voices were so weak and shrill. Stayc as well have no stand out singer and all the girls sound very shrill and weak especially Sumin? Kpop fans don't understand vocal nodules and vocally regressin

Taeyeon is a fake, she's never sang live in her life. She actually lip synced to Lee Soo Man's voice all along tthroughout her career.
