I know he had a bad run this year, but from what I can find, part of that is because the facilities suck. I'd wonder if they're mad because he won in 2018 when the Games were in Korea, but second and third were non-Koreans too, so IDK.

He always seems so polite and considerate.

And I actually have a lot of respect for him because he took risks and tried something new these Olympics instead of just playing it safe.

They're mad that he's a good figure skater and beating out like all of the other jobless figure skaters which includes the other Korean figure skaters. and he is cute. case closed. #Jealousy

because he is Japanese and proud of it.

Korean-Japanese sentiment is still BAD bad on both sides and some Koreans will hate every Japanese person unless they basically denounce their nationality and put down their own country, and even then some extreme Korean nationalists still hate them for simply being Japanese.

But this does not represent all Koreans, in fact Yuzuru has many Korean fans, and many Koreans think hating on every Japanese person for the sins of their Government is nonsense

And this are probably the same Koreans you find on Youtube under random Japanese musicvideos who claim they feel ashamed for the music of a Japanese artist, but than go onto their own channel and you see them covering trillions of Japanese songs. I mean look the majority of J-song cover are by Koreans lol
