my type was big not as a big as love scenario but it was a very popular song back then ikon predebut had a lot of hype and my type was a reflection of that since it was the first song they released.

This clearly separates the wheat from the chaff, if you make it to #1 on Melon Daily, you are one of a very select few groups, especially BGs.

Bigbang has like 20, including songs not included on this chart from before 2014.

So no, Ikon is not a one hit wonder. One national hit wonder, sure, but not one hit wonder.

You can really that starting from 2019, it’s harder to chart based on the number of idol groups there. Very obvious to see

no they're not.

I think it's unfair to say they only had one hit. They had one monster hit with Love Scenario. Some groups/singers never get that and still have successful careers.
