Where do you put your K-pop generational boundaries at?

For me it's this:

• 1st gen: Seo Taiji and Boys formation (1992) 👨‍👨‍👦 -> BoA's Japanese debut (2001) 🗾 (peak in the late 90s with groups like H.O.T and S.E.S)
  • 1.5th gen: First K-pop GG debuts (about 1997) 👯‍♀️ -> BoA's Japanese debut (2001) 🗾
• 2nd gen: BoA's Japanese debut (2001) 🗾 -> Release of PSY's Gangnam Style (2012) 😎 (peak in the late 2000s with the Golden Age of K-Pop)
  • 2.5th gen: SNSD's debut (2007) 💗 -> Release of PSY's Gangnam Style (2012) 😎
• 3rd gen: Release of PSY's Gangnam Style (2012) 😎 -> GP999 premiere (2021) 🌏 (peak in 2014-16 with the Big 3's GG debuts)
  • 3.5th gen: Blackpink's debut (2016) 🖤 -> GP999 premiere (2021) 🌏
• 4th gen: GP999 premiere (2021) 🌏 -> present day 📅 (hasn't really peaked yet for me LOL 😅)

While I do like the chart I found some points where the gens in the chart overlap (like with the 2nd-3rd gen thing where 2012 and 2013 debutant GGs are placed in 2nd gen while BGs who debuted in the same period are placed in 3rd gen ) (not to be rude tho )
