Why are sasaengs always silent when a scandal happens?

If a true scandal broke about an idol and their career was over, the sasaeng wouldn't have them around to follow then.

That's basically the opposite of what they want to happen. They need that idol to be active so they can keep taking their pictures and finding out their info and stalking them.

Sasaengs are not trying to ruin an idol. It's much deeper and more twisted than that.

if they're a saesang and they're in love with them wouldn't they want to cover up their scandals not expose them? although if it's a dating scandal I could see psycho saesangs feeling betrayed and seeking revenge

A Saesang only has their own interest in mind, they don't care if their biases career is ruined, just as long as their bias notices them
