I just basically summarize the common opinions I have seen about kpop overall. To play you just have to answer to each one with TRUE OR FALSE. This game is very subjective (some are objective answers tho) so there isn’t a correct or wrong answer this is just for fun and to create some debate.
- Music shows wins are all about timing.
- General Public is better than fandom
- Song of the year is the easiest daesang to win.
- Album sales represent fandom size
- Hanteo shows the real sales
- Award shows are biased
- Big label privilege exists
- Without a choreo most songs would flop
- Visuals win over talent
- Labels obsessed with western success
- Amount of album versions increase the total sales
- Million seller means selling 1M with 1 album not cumulative sales.
- MV views in kpop are now dead
- YT ads are fine
- Photocards are overhyped
- 1M sales is not a big deal anymore
- Successful artists can coexist at the same time
- Exceptions can not be the standards of success
- Japan brings more profit than the US
- Peaceful fandoms don’t exists.
