explain this obsession

explain why it seems a lot of idols ( idk if majority or not but quite a few ) seem to be obsessed with these things :

1 ) americano

third gen and forward groups especially seem to really like talking about their love for basically coffee power and water

2 ) MBTI

for the love of god I cant understand why Loona and Dreamcatcher wont stop discussing MBTI, Twice made whole video series on it, probably many other idols talk about it in their vlives all the time too. And kpop fans are really obsessed with categorizing idols into MBTI too.

Like I understand it can be fun but its basically another form of vain classification

3 ) sexy

oh my god the amount of times ive heard sekshi sekshi ( not mocking btw that's literally how you pronounce it in korean ) in recent idol varieties is fucking nuts. Now I'm not a fan of variety shows so for me to have noticed it, there must be a real obsession with being sexy nowadays. Which is weird cause with rise of feminism in kpop, you'd think people would like NOT to be sexualized too much.

except its based off of how you see yourself in your head or how you WISH you portrayed yourself, not how you actually act in real life + we all think and act different in different situations
