I was discussing jk rowling comment & other women tiktok videos about trans with my friends and I was just thinking what make their opinion transphobic? and what make it an opinion? not only in this topic but any other topic?
(I saw some people calling other transphobic because they don't agree with trans women being in the same sport or prison as other women is this an opinion or are they transphobic?)

Hate comment goes like this
"This song is fcking trash"
"This song makes my ear hurt/gives me headaches"
Or something along the lines of above statements.
Opinion goes like this
"I dislike this song"
"This song is not my vibe/type" Or "I don't vibe with this song"
"It could've been better"
Or something along the lines of above statements.
About visuals
Opinion: He/she is not that good looking to me, he/she is overrated
Hate: He/she is ugly please get some plastic surgery
Extreme hate: The face only a mother could love
i'm not gonna discuss JK Rowling but all i will say is that there's a difference between being transphobic and being a "TERF". they mean two different things and sometimes those who take the "TERF" thing too far are transphobic so it definitely makes sense that some people are angry and confused.
opinion comment: "i don't like x's singing"
hate comment: "x is ugly" "x should go kill themselves"
An opinion is merely stating someone's view or belief on something whereas a hate comment is just that, to incite hate or a flame war just because they disagree with that opinion. In the case of trolls, they just do it to be hateful and nasty as that's the type of person they are. My block list is full with users like that.
