Wait...the girl that was called giraffe(Yunjin) in produce is debuting with Chaewon and Sakura?

  • She is not rude, she is confident in her own vocal skills. She knew Nako would ruin Into The New World.

Just because Nako can hit high notes doesn't mean theyre nice to listen too.

Was that the only thing she did?

I thought something worse had happened in the upcoming episodes. So... I'm on her side. If I want something or think that something fits better a certain rol , I have to express it! So... I gotta say that I admire her honesty, other people might remain silent just to be seem as humble.

  • I mean, Yunjin basically just asked nicely if she could try again for the main vocal position. That was it. She wasn't demanding or b*tchy about it. Just desperate for another chance, and she was thankful to Nako for it. Knetz seriously blew that ish outta proportion.

    :mads:

  • I'm still confused about this whole situation.

The forum has been quiet lately. I thought "let's make some threads"...

I don't see the point of trying to make me shut my mouth, freedom of speech exists, Right?

About the propagation thing, the replies have been positive towards Yujin so the thread worked as a clarification.

Sorry man... I thought she had done something worse. Let me change the description.

  • RobVel

Changed the title of the thread from “Wait...the girl that was called giraffe in produce is debuting with Chaewon and Sakura?” to “Wait...the girl that was called giraffe(Yunjin) in produce is debuting with Chaewon and Sakura?”.
  • You're not the only one who is confused mate.

I would never infringe on anyone's right of freedom of speech, far from it.

    I'm just bored I guess?

Actually... Reflecting upon this topic I think there's a culture thing in here. Not gonna generalize but some Asian cultures prefer people to conform (in some way) to certain things, especially if those things were fixed by older people than you. If you raise your voice and try to change things you might be labeled as rude.

It's kinda sad... Confidence shouldn't be mixed with rudeness.

The thing is it had nothing to do with confidence. At the time, Yunjin thought she was ranked right near the cut off point for the next elimination. She was desperate. This is the exact transcript from that scene:

Yunjin: "There's something I wanted to say. I really want to show you my voice. This may be my last chance. Can I try for the center again?"

    Chaewon: "One more time?"

Yunjin: "Yes. It's a bummer. I want to ask if I could try again?"

And when Nako just nicely gave it to her instead of going for another round of voting, she felt sorry, cried, and thanked her.

That was the whole scene. While I do think that it was wrong and a mistake for her to ask for a re-vote, I don't see how just asking for a second try is worth canceling her. You usually cancel people because they're racist, sexist, bullies, or just plain awful people. Do you cancel them just because they're desperate and politely ask for another chance? And also she was only 16 at the time.....still pretty much a kid. Kid's generally tend to be a little self-absorbed at times. But it doesn't mean that makes them bad people. This is why I have a bitter taste about the knetz gang-piling on her. Because they cancelled a kid not for doing something awful but for simply making a mistake that any kid can do.

  • Oh, yeah. I had forgotten that she was in despair... Her actions were plausible. No-one wants to be eliminated without showing all what they've got!

I hope she receives a lot of love once she debuts!

  • Giraffe wha-?

And i hope the rumor isnt true. I hope Hybe is actually working furiously to bring together the 10 non Starshit members of Izone back together as a recurring project group with Chaewon and Sakura at the core. Like what SM is doing with GOT. Maybe this is why no one has heard a peep about the Sakuchae group. Hybe burning the phones trying to put together deals with 8D, Urban, CJ-Woolim, RBW-WM, Yuehua and AKB/HKT.

    That would be amazing!!!

    We can dream!
