Have you ever used internet lingo on a real life person/irl?

I use YAAAAAAAAAS QUEEEN SLAYYY whenever I cheer on my friends and coworkers during karaoke LOL

Irl when there is a funny, ridiculous or laughable situation but the impact is not strong enough to make me laugh out I just say "lol". Yeah, I know. Embarrassing.

I would like to see that! It must have been so cool!

Sometimes I have an urge to say tbh but I'm pretty sure nobody would understand as I don't live in an English speaking country but lol is quite popular even here

not really internet lingo but Ineed to control myself a lot when I'm speaking to my mum or grandma to not use English words or the words taken from English because they have no idea what I'm saying if I do

I've said "haha, lol" in response to a joke by my elderly neighbour. He looked at me rather strangely while I did my best to pretend that my response had been perfectly normal.

I've also enthusiastically greeted a friend with "hello there!", somehow expecting a "General Kenobi! " in return. It didn't work and I actually felt kind of sad for a bit.

I think I say: Fuck, Lol, Yolo, LMAO too much and since I'm in a non English-country it comes off weird to some people lol

The worst thing that ever happend was I hit my toe, said fuck and the boyfriend of an ex. roommate literally said: "You don't say fuck, you do it"

some words unknowingly slip out when i’m conversing with my parents and they look at me all weird 😭😭

Oh I also say "lol jk" whenever I make a mistake out loud. I literally go "el oh el jay kay" and people find it amusing lmaoooo
