I'm glad BTS finally have IG and turned off the comment section for all their posts

Probably the smartest move they made since joining that app.

Twitter was such a pain in the ass, bc of all the blocking I had to do to remove fanwar drama from my timeline. Weverse doesn't have a good user interface. Not to mention, the community there isn't that great either.

Instagram also would've been so-so, but turning off the comment section made the experience a whole lot better. Now I can follow their accounts without witnessing any unwanted fanwar under their posts. I didn't even mind following them on my personal account. That's how relaxing their ig is

Still will be using Twitter for updates and stuff but once BTS official ig gets their shit together, I'm leaving Twitter forever.

Like another user said Weverse is definetly ebtter at handling their report system but it’s not very user friendly. At least I don’t visit it as much because I find it difficult and frankly annoying to navigate.

Wish we could have a twitter style Weverse but without all the terfs, racists and homophobes.

Oh, and without all the people who apparently idolize Regina George enough to try and become her.

true. but whenever I open it the posts look random, just like YouTube comments. Hard to catch what's going on. Now that BTS turned off comments, there's nothing to report so I find IG the best.

I cant even imagine the amount of crazy fans or delulus we would probably see and even be posting about on this forum if comments werent disabled. They made the right choice.

I don't think so but again I don't check ig accounts of idols outside of my faves that often, so I might not be aware of idols who do so.

I'm not sure how things work, I don't use twitter, insta or weverse but maybe they aren't allowed to disable them. Usually all big artists have brand deals and likes and comments increase engagement. Bts have none, they all post just personal stuff and can disable/limit them.

Agree!! It’s so great having just their posts and the other members comments to read.. we are like voyeurs in a way lol
