krell posing by my grave after I watched the above video.

  • I was already in physical pain from the other members but when I saw 2007 it was lights out.

An idol that was born the year of WonSoKa. Never thought i would see that day.

yeah, it's kinda scary how idols keep getting younger. i also think its not good for such young kids to be in this industry ;(

  • JANG WON YOUNG (IZ*ONE) was just over Age 14 when the PD48 TV Show started up ... I believe SUZY (MISS A) and MINZY (2NE1) were *close* to Age 15 at their K-pop debut ... The reality , is a LOT of the K-pop TRAINEES have *already* been ACTIVE in *School* based created K-pop Groups (NOT paid , no real Agency) ... They do dance covers of K-pop songs at some social function ... Looking at the DEBUT Age can be somewhat deceptive ... KARA5 , KANG JIYOUNG was very close to AGE 15 when she did DEBUT with them ... I believe JIYOUNG was already *fine tuned* as a potential K-pop Idol , via ACADEMY training ... JIYOUNG was only with DSP Agency *very short time* before she was added to KARA5 Group ... That ACADEMY path seems maybe a GOOD way to go in some ways , for younger age female aspiring K-pop Idols , as JIYOUNG was.

With BUSTERS Group , a couple members were Age 12.5 at DEBUT ... And I looked at their PROFILE ... And it said that at least one of them had been *previously* active in another K-pop Group before BUSTERS ... Obviously , BUSTERS is NOT a 'top tier' AGENCY situation (say SMe , or JYPe) ... But YOUNG and active in K-pop style groups (with NO PAY yet , or real AGENCY) , is NOT uncommon exactly (my view).

Krystal was also 14 at time of debut. It still didn't seem like that was the norm during 2nd gen like it is now.

But yeah Busters is still the champ of debuting kids.

  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kahi

On the 'flip side' of the AGE at DEBUT issue ...

KAHI = Age 29 at (Year 2009) DEBUT (Leader)

    with AFTER SCHOOL Group ...

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoo_In-na

At the age of 16, YOO IN NA joined an entertainment agency as an apprentice singer in 1998, and had nearly become part of a girl group. After *11 YEARS and 5 different K-pop AGENCIES* , she could not be prominent (NO DEBUT). YOO IN NA said she had difficulty memorizing the dance choreography required of K-pop singers, and after practicing for eight hours a day, six days a week, she had resigned from becoming an idol (K-pop).

(Note: YOO IN NA is a good friend of IU)

  • Oh damn. I didn't know After School had a member debut at 29??

Kahi pretty much built After School. She is one of the impressive stories in Kpop - lot of struggle, self-taught, backup dancing, then building a group, leading it etc.,
