I was HUNTING for this video after I read this on Twitter.

People need to give idols more credit. They crap on the live vocals, but you see? This is not easy. Yes, they DID train for 5 to 10 years. To ensure they don't sound like this.

I feel so bad for laughing at these young girls. They really tried. They worked hard. It just...was not it.

Imagine how they must feel seeing this doing rounds. Imagine how their family and parents must feel.

And the one girl, Seojin?, doing the stereotypical high note head turn and not making it either time.

Their dancing was pretty good, but their vocals killed everything. And, the one young lady is just tone deaf. Does she actually have an agency? Did she legitimately pass the audition with this kind of rhythm? Against how many thousands of girls who must have auditioned? Are her parents rich/influential? I can't imagine. Someone really set her up if that's the case. This is how people get trapped in agency debt and slave contracts.

Hopefully there is a redemption arc for these girls and they don't go out like this. Probably going to boost ratings for the show too since I was paying 0 attention to this after GP999 just ended.

Yeseo was tone deaf in rehearsal and couldn't catch the beat at all and she's still so bad here. A pain to watch. It's interesting how her one line in Same Same Different also sounds off beat.

This is a case where they shouldn't have let them perform. It has been threatened on MNet programs before, but the performers were always good enough to get on stage after more practice.

I haven't watched the show but this doesn't seem like just nerves. They just don't have the skill.

If they included them to get press for their bad performance then whoever is responsible should literally be fired for child abuse. Its like those bad performances in the audition phase of shows like American Idol, but those shows had the decency to only include adults.

There's no way the producers didn't do this on purpose and there is no way they would've let them perform except for ratings and mockery. I am weak and let out a snort but it's a shitty thing to do to girls this young.

Who are the panelists and how are they judging ?

Make fun of the performance all you want, but I find it funny how Knetz act so shocked when not so talented contestants join these shows, when they literally vote for those types who end up making it in the final groups

Just because Sohye, Hyewon, etc got better down the line doesn’t mean we forgot how their evaluation stages were like & the fact that they debuted despite that
