Yeah that’s why i’m surprised the US decided to steal Masked Singer (and not take it as seriously as Korea), but not SMTM. Rap/hip-hop is a lot more popular in the US than Korea, so imagine if they had their own version.

I think one of the main problem is, the A-list rap community isn’t as close like Korea, so it’d be hard to get a lot of the show. But yeah SMTM has been growing steadily just like K-rap.

I never thought this show will become well-received since we barely see rap songs charting well in Kchart. I think SMTM is MNET most successful survival show.

smtm10 deserved honestly. The songs are all great and the people working on them and the artists worked so hard in such a quick time
