Tbh I still can't identify the aespa girls by name and face, not yet, except the girl with short hair (Ning Ning?). For me they look almost the same and none of them looks like their avatars... It'd be better for them if they stick to their Asian looks than try to look like westerners, or maybe they can try to look cool like 2NE1!

And I think I can predict it by now that they can't make it big in the West the same way Blackpink have done. Why? Because they don't have the uniqueness that BP have! Also every BP member looks different from each other and it's quite easy to identify them by name and face. Every member also has unique voice and style... Teddy used to live in the US so he knew it well how important it is to be unique, and he handpicked the girls with different qualities... There're so many good artists in the West and in the world, and if you aren't really really good or can be stand out in some way, you can't never get their attention or even to be noticed by them at all!

Btw I like Somi's song "Anymore". Anyway the song is not unique and her voice is not unique enough either... so I can't see how she's going to make it big in the West... but she can try.

Wut? Anymore is incredibly unique. What other idol has put out a song like this, guitar driven with full English vocals that are perfectly pronounced? Rose is literally the only i can think of and Gone was a ballad.

Somi moves different compared to any other Kpop idol. When was the last time you saw a 20 year old female idol just blurt out "gae sae kki" with her whole chest in a talk show like this?

The aespa girls really don't look that similar, if you watch a couple interview clips you'll quickly learn who is who. I do wish they had made the avatars look more like the members though. Karina's kind of looks like her, but the others have little resemblance. If it was me, I'd feel really insecure if they gave me an avatar that's way thinner, bigger boobs, bigger eyes, etc. Winter already kind of joked about it in an interview.
