Agreed. Stay didn't do very well, so of course they won't release more songs like that. It makes sense to go for a formula that works.

First of all: stay was terrible. Hope Not or You Never Know would have done better but realistically, it's a ballad for a hype-music pop group. They almost never do well.

And 2nd: we keep getting D4 esque songs because that's all Teddy knows how to do successfully. Whistle and PWF were both crazy successful but Teddy barely touched and therefore couldn't replicate them. It's not just BP, it's all his artists

I seriously don't get this argument that Blackpink songs sound exactly like each other. Just because they have a beat drop doesn't mean they sound like each other.

Many songs have full choruses, do you see people saying those songs sound alike because they have full choruses?

Who sings what part is not a characteristic of the song but rather the performance of it.

A completely different group performing Kill This Love would still be performing Kill This Love. But in that instance, would it still be similar to Dx4?

And type of sound or concept is working with bp so Idk why teddy should change for the sake of anti validation

Many times people were telling groups to change their sound and now people are saying they miss their old music

And BP did with ICE cream but it ended being hated (I don’t like this song so deserved) however lovesick girl is perfect song and it showcases bp versatility but it’s ‘underrated’ worldwide for BP standard

PS has already 200M streams 100M views when lsg ‘only’’ reached 500M views...HYLT has more daily streams and views when it just a pre release

I personally think stay should've been a b-side, I mean it is but has an MV so idk fully. it is a good song, but it isn't a song that will be liked by many or will have an exposure. it's a very simple song, that you won't listen often. but indeed is beautiful.

BP were never vocal group so I don't understand why would they release smth like this as title. I prefer it to be a b-side.
