Ok, the biggest unknown well known secret of AKP, everybody here is pretty much an introvert.
So you have to be a little less introvert than the rest of the introverts.

I've been here like a week and have quite a few friends.
First, flirt with everyone shamelessly. Or is your shy quote and build a conversation by commenting on things other users post.
Second, follow people who you like( like their posts/threads)
Thirds, message them on their profile and let them know that your friends now
Fourth, profit!!!!

Second, follow people who you like( like their posts/threads)
Thirds, message them on their profile and let them know that your friends now

Chat with people. You start interacting with someone on a thread when they say something that interests you. Or ask about some music - I've made friends because I asked some questions about their favorite artist and it started a friendship. Or finding a common interest in songs.
If you like an artist or a song or would like to know more about them, try popping into one of the guilds. Although chat in guilds may seem like everyone knows each other, people are always happy to chit chat. In the different guilds I pop into, chat may be as much about the weather, book picks or someone's anime picks as often as it is about artists and music and favorite songs. Although I mostly hang out in the same two guilds, I've popped into 5 or 6 several times. The only challenge with guilds is time zones - you may pop in when the guild is less active..I can only speak to the two guilds I know very well, but even if you comment when less active, there are people in both of them who are back reading there and will usually catch your message and answer.
I see you like RV and Twice. What have been your favorite songs from them this year?
