When Sunny of SNSD found out that EXID's Solji had actually debuted before her in 2NB, she immediately switched and acknowledged Solji as the Sunbae.
Never mind that neither 2NB nor EXID have matched SNSD's success.
So I don't get your obsession with filial duty?
Do you expect Somi to give IU a cold shoulder when they encounter each other? OR if a question is asked specifically if she enjoy's IU's songs- should she say "who is IU, never heard of her'.
At best, Somi need not mention IU voluntarily as a role model etc. - as Chungha/Sejeong etc. have done.

Filial duty basically means younger singers deferring to IU, so if Ennik can keep her distance from IU Ennik can get away not having to pay respect to the Effective owner of Edam, but that is hard to do since so many people cover the Edam owner
