Do groups with less members have more akgaes? 39

Yes (15) 38%

No (6) 15%

It depends (18) 46%
usually yes but in many cases not
I think akgaes are less about the number of members (or even the members themselves) and more about how they're promoted. If one or a few members are promoted more than other members and seen as the "main characters" then they'll get a lot of akgaes due to more exposure/individual success. In that case, the less popular members will get bitter fans due to them being underpromoted and underappreciated so they'll become akgaes
At least thats what I usually see
I would say the focus is more on individual members in small groups which is why it becomes more obvious when a member has many akgaes... In larger groups there can be many akgaes too but it is less noticeable because there are usually only two or three members while the rest have "normal" fans.
I think a important factor is the way how these members are promoted. In a smaller group the members get more promoted individually while in bigger groups we mostly see group activities.
mm maybe. I feel like there isn't a strong corellation. Like, Mamamoo (as far as I know) and Kard (as far as I know) are small, but their fandoms don't have akgaes.
But also, their fandoms are significantly smaller in comparison to groups like aespa and bp, so I think it's more of a fandom size thing. The bigger the fandom, the more toxic people.
I think it depends! Like SISTAR and Brown Eyed Girls both also had/have 4 members but hardly any akgaes.
I think it depends more on international popularity.

Mamamoo fans are welcome to correct me, but I seem to recall that there was more toxicity in the fandom when their solo activities started.

Oh really? I kind of thought the fandom was more on the chill side (at least nowadays), but also I'm a newer moomoo, and since this is like a decade old group, I'm not familiar with all the history.
Then maybe it's not so much fandom size, but social media that brings out the toxic elements?
Social media definitely brings toxicity to the fore!
Not with TXT tho
Lots of Odi akgaes though

there is always a bit of toxicity...but the fans support every member in general
